Another vote here for Dragon Inn. It's definately not Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon....
All that's needed to say have been said, why say anything more? The man is drunk, why stay any longer?....

Hero, followed by Huang FeiHong I.
Actually I'd have to say that this poll should be basically about what's the best wuxia movie ever made, not about what's shown in the US. Because 99% of popular wuxia movies have been shown in the US in limited releases one time or another.
Once Upon a China I (Wong Fei Hung).
I voted for Hero eventhough the fighting scenes were not as exceptional as Crouching Tiger or Wong Fei Hung. I just thought that the cinematography was exceptional and the ways they fiddle with colors are truly amazing. This is a true piece of art and to classifies it as purely Wuxia or Martial Art/Kung Fu is quite contstricting.
i vote for iron monkey
Am i Crazy!?!?!?!

Yeah and some were only released on DVD not in theaters.Originally Posted by Battosai

I loved Dragon Inn.
Did they ever show Swordsman II in the US?

Personally I don't like over-conscious movies that (to me at least) is blatantly trying hard to please film festivals. Hehe.

Well, I like Hero the best. It's very beautiful and philosophical.
Heavy sword with blunt edges, simplicity brings superiority. Before I reached the age of forty, I used it to roam the entire world under Heaven. (Dugu Seeking-A-Loss)
After the age of forty, I no longer relied on weaponry. Even bushes, trees, bamboo sticks or rocks call all be my swords. From then on, I achieved great progress and slowly reached the realm of overcoming the sword without a sword.(Dugu Seeking-A-Loss)
If it is "wow I want more", then it has to be Once Upon a time in China.Originally Posted by Long
