Its is just the reason that we are not rich enough an yet mediacrap is still torturing us like that...and to Channel U, to think they call it their family.
This goes to show that if you are good, someone will want you somewhere. Only those cockeyed stations will intentionally not want to sign these artistes.Originally Posted by wuchang

Well I bet they will. In the late night slots or afternoon slots after they've cleared their current backlog of programmes.
Old habits die hard for Mediacorp.
And most hilariously in today's papers they say:
MediaCorp promises quality TV
By Asad Latif
THE end of MediaCorp's 'debilitating competition' with MediaWorks will help it focus on quality programmes that will give viewers the choice they want, its chairman Ho Kwon Ping said yesterday.
Speaking to members and guests of the Singapore Press Club, he acknowledged that 'the consumer used to have a choice but does not anymore' for local television news and local-content drama and entertainment.
The solution is to ensure 'a culture of creativity and innovation' can thrive in a single-player local television industry and be translated into more genuine choices for the consumer.
Mr Ho, a prominent businessman who became MediaCorp chairman last July, said the group needs to supplement safe and time-tested local offerings with original programmes that lead rather than follow the market.
Doesn't this sound very typical and empty a promise???
It sounds very politically correct and scripted and full of bullsh*t.
Yes its hilarious.......
Seriously, how can Mediacorp, a company that is bias against Chinese be able to deliver the promise ?
In fact, they made so much mistakes e.g. 周日。Mediacorp's definition is Mon to Fri . Apparently it is wrong. 周日=SUNDAY and not WEEKDAY (WEEK=周,day=日). Mon to Fri = 周一至周五。
I am not sure about 說新聞,but 說 includes subjective reporting. News is News, you can't report your own opinions into it. 報道新聞 is the correct term to use.
