Stars Zhu Mimi, Christopher Lee, Michelle Saram, Qi Yuwu, Joanne Peh, Alan Tern, Brandon Wong.
Since the death of her husband years ago, school bus driver Du Caixia (Zhu Mimi) has to bring up her 4 children single-handedly. Because she has to fend for her children alone, she is overprotective of them and quick to poke her nose into every aspect of their lives, be it marriage or career.
As with previous years, Caixia goes to Thailand to pray for the peace and safety of the family. On her way back to Singapore, she clashes headlong into trouble as she stumbles upon a crime of passion. She witnesses businessman Bai Shicong (Li Wenhai) in the heinous act of murdering his mistress, Ah Ya. Shicong decides to silence Caixia; she gets crushed by Ah Ya's body and dies.
Caixia could not rest in peace. There are still many things left for her to do. She just cannot bear to leave like that. Her second son, Lin Zhengzhi (Qi Yuwu), and her third daughter Lin Zhengting (Michelle Saram), are her greatest worries because their love lives are still a blank. With the help of her dead husband, she is granted her wish to return home.
Zhengzhi has been secretly admiring Yuhuan (Joanne Peh), the girlfriend of his buddy Liu Weiqiang (Alan Tern). Lacking the guts to profess his love, he could only watch her from a distance. He does not even mind when Weiqiang takes advantage of him. Worried that Yuhuan may be hurt by Weiqiang's philandering ways, Zhengzhi stands steadfastly by Yuhuan, protecting her, even at the expense of his life.
On the other hand, Zhengting is hell bent on getting a rich husband, so she goes around making friends with well-heeled. Through a series of hilarious mishaps and misunderstandings, she falls for a waiter whom she thinks is just a $ 1,250-a-month employee. Never has she dreamt that the man, Yang Yijie (Christopher Lee), is actually the son of the owner of a conglomerate of recreational clubs. He is merely working his career from the bottom up. By a strange twist of fate, they become involved in a hazy relationship.
Caixia, ever the tireless mum, tries to bring Zhengzhi and Yuhuan together, while taking painstaking efforts to protect Zhengting from being cheated, to stop her wayward eldest son Zhengye (Brandon Wong) from breaking the law, and the youngest son Zhengkang from flunking his exams.
Thinking she is omnipotent now that she is an angel, Caixia believes there is nothing that could be beyond her. But things turn out to be more inconvenient and difficult for her. Nevertheless, her determination to do her best for her children drives her to conjure up clumsy ways to help them, all in her typical aunty fashion.
Meanwhile, she finds her murderer Shicong and his wife. Thinking she is still alive, he tries ways and means to finish her off. At this juncture, her children discovers that she is no longer human, but an angel
No matter how strong her love for her children is, she will ultimately have to leave them.
