Some friends are too busy with their lives (either married with kids or moved to another country/city) so less time to meet with them. Old hangouts are filled with younger people. Even this forum seems dead.

Before 20, you are idealistic
20-30, you are optimistic
31-40, you are realistic
41-50, you are pessimistic
51-60, ... [no experience yet].
I find my happiest period to date is 25-30. Because you start earning on a full-time basis during this period with little family commitments.
Once your children are older again, you can start traveling again. Sometimes you can take your kids along. When they are new borns, yes its hard and you lose a lot of sleep.... Somehow this thread sounds so depressing =(
Nah, they have different life after marriage. More bills to pay, more things to buy and thinking about big item like housing.
Good one.
There is nothing depressing about this. Don't feel sorry for the parents who lose sleep over their children. When the children grow up, they will get all the big rewards in return. The children will be filial to them and take great care of them during their old age.
Being 36, single, and working...sometimes I do wonder, how would it be like being married and have kids.
Sim neej aws...
