Default Could Gwok Jing or the other Greats have fought their way out of ROCH-era Shaolin?

In this other thread, I asked everyone to speculate with me about what Gwok Jing might have done or not done on Cheung Gwun Bo's behalf had Gwok Jing accompanied Gwok Seung to the Shaolin Temple during the first two chapters of HEAVEN SWORD AND DRAGON SABRE.

Now assuming that Gwok Jing did decide to help Cheung Gwun Bo and it came down to a fight, could even Gwok Jing (or any of the other ROCH Greats, for that matter) have fought his way out of Shaolin? Although Shaolin was just coming out of a long era of weakness at the end of ROCH, it was still a force to reckon with. Gok Yeun was able to escape Shaolin with Gwok Seung and Cheung Gwun Bo, but even with his 9 Yeung Jen Ging inner power, he died of exhaustion from the process. Unlike Gok Yeun, Gwok Jing and the ROCH Greats had actual martial arts skills...but would a Great be able to take on all of post-ROCH era Shaolin singlehandedly if it came down to that?

Considering that no one in Shaolin had an answer to Mr. 3 Saints (obviously they could all gang beat on him, but any three people wouldn't be able to win even if they teamed up), I don't think they'd be able to do a thing.

Frankly CGB was silly for continuing to carry those iron buckets. And it's not like he really needed to carry the two of them all the way imo.

By the end of ROCH, there was the original Shaolin Sect in Mt. Shaoshi and the other Shaolin branch in Western Regions.

During that time, there was the "xin" generation monks which is a generation above the "tian" generation monks. There were a few "xin" generation elder monks, but how good they are we are not very sure - we never saw them fight. Then we have the "tian" generation monks from original Shaolin and the WR branch, which is the Abbot Tianming and the 3 WR Shaolin guys. Followed by "wu" and "jue" generation monks.

In terms of internal energy, JY should be the best from Shaolin from that era. But for a GREAT to take on all Shaolin people at the same time, its going to be hard.

Who was present and available at Shaolin on that day? We meet a few "Mo" generation monks and Gok Yeun, of course, but we didn't really get to see what other kinds of fighters were available at the Shaolin Temple that day.

Nearly thirty years earlier at the beginning of ROCH, Gwok Jing had successfully fought his way through a 100-man Cheun Jen Sect Big Dipper Formation, but he didn't have to fight the Cheun Jen 6 Elders afterward. Could the Shaolin Temple of the post-ROCH era have matched or surpassed the Cheun Jen Sect of early ROCH?

Well, while people might try to stop him, unless GJ started murdering people I don't think Abbot TianMing would have ordered a gang smackdown on him or anything. So probably he could escape with ease. Jue Yuan only died of exhaustion because he had previously wiped away the floor, and also blocked Mr. 3 Saints' attack using all inner power and no technique, and then run a long distance while carrying heavy weights. I think GJ would have been able to escape without problems. Even if he had to carry ZJB and GX, he should still be able to do it.
