Default Mid-Tier Matchups # 11: Chan Gun Nam (DOMD) vs. Gok Dai Tung (L/ROCH)

Chan Gun Nam, leader of the Heaven and Earth Society during DOMD, takes on Cheun Jen Sect elder Gok Dai Tung (L/ROCH). Both men are armed with ordinary swords. Who takes this?

Well Hao Datong only half level behind Huodu during Hero Meeting which mean he is on par with YG at that time while in the other hand I don't think Chen Jialuo ever reach YG level during Hero Meeting so Hao Datong > Chen Jialuo IMHO..

Our Qing Dynasty representative is not Chan Ga Lok, leader of the Red Flower Society from BOOK & SWORD: GRATITUDE & REVENGE, but Chan Gun Nam, the leader of the Heaven and Earth Society from DUKE OF MT. DEER - Wai Siu Bo's teacher. Different characters.

Chan Gun Nam's martial arts were superior to those of Chan Ga Lok. Chan Gan Nam was from the early Qing Dynasty period not too many years after the end of the Ming Dynasty, so the great martial arts of the Ming era had not fully deteriorated yet. Chan Gun Nam's feats (including a palm that could freeze opponents' blood), while far below the level of Sung Dynasty-era Greats, should be able to compete against mid-tier level people from that era.

How do you think if he fight against someone like LMC or MCF since Hao Datong only could last less than 💯 moves against MCF..

Mui Chiu Fung and Lee Mok Sau would likely be too much for Chan Gun Nam to handle, but Gok Dai Tung seems to be just around where Chan Gun Nam would be.
