Default Greatest pre-fight speeches in wuxia fiction?

What are some of the best, most memorable pre-fight speeches in wuxia fiction? Sometimes, the verbal exchange that precedes the fisticuffs is no less intense than the physical fighting. What are some of your favorite speeches before the a$$-kicking begins?

The speeches were sometimes better than the fights.

And in some cases, the fight doesn't even take place. Incredible.

All sizzle and no steak, but sometimes, even the sizzle is worth the price of admission.

Imagine you pay like 10k to get front-row seat to game 7 of the NBA Finals and then Lebron James and Steph Curry trashtalk each other for like 30 minutes. Then the game is canceled. I don't know. I'd want my money back.

You have to put it in perspective. Sometimes, the speech IS the fight. e.g. Fu Hongxue to Gongzi Yu.

Using psychology and words to win instead of physical attacks, Sun Tzu to Bruce Lee would approve.

Imagine the final table at the World Poker tournament. The players would all spend hours trying to psycho-analyze each other's hand and goading each other into folding or going all-in. Then no one shows their hand and everyone takes their chips and goes home. Well, that's the Gu Long fight scenes to me.

That’s what I was thinking of! The Shaolin RWX speech scared the piss out of everyone present, who were preparing to gang up on him until he gave that speech. It also showed off his deadly intellect as well as the thoroughness of his information/intelligence sources.

The second was Fu Hongxue’s speech to Gongzi Yu, it not only destroyed the main baddies self confidence, it also made him turn good! Craziness.

Sometimes speeches are not necessary and would deminish the seriousness of the fight.

For example, the final fight of YG vs JLFW would be kind of lame if the two fighters has a speech like, "JLFW says: my defeat by you 16 years ago was the lowest of my life.
Since then, I have trained day and night to reach the the next level and now prepare for my Dragon Elephant Prana Palms!"

This speech would take away the seriousness of the fight and also they are on a burning platform, so no time for nonsense.

This would compare to a Western cowboy showdown where the two duelists have a long speech, maybe trash talking before the shootout that would probably lasts for a few seconds. No need for rubbishness, just actions

Ever watch the classic THE GOOD, THE BAD, AND THE UGLY starring Clint Eastwood and Lee Van Cleef? I loved how the final shootout was preceded by something of ten minutes of intense, urgent drum music as the camera panned rapidly back and forth among the three titular adversaries.

Maybe the intense music before the shootout is comparable to the great pre-fight speeches of Wuxia.
One of my favorite Western cowboy movies. 1990s, golden years of cowboy and Wuxia movies.
