the movie was soo good and funny too..... mike is so hot and rainie is so cute i think they are a good couple.....hiihii.... well i hope there more movies about mike he and rainie yang act together...:) :D

Are we kidding?? It is soo bad I regret buying it.
it's like a bad bad comedy drama, they are trying very hard t make it funny but it just doesn't work for me.

My favorite series! I love it! I love everything from the corny hair pins in Ahmon's hair, to Qi Yue's funny faces. What a great love story. All of the cast had great chemistry.

I super love this series! those sweet moments including the romantic lines of qi yue especially ahmong really do touches me a lot! worth watching! highly recommended!

i rily love mike he and rainie yang, mike he is so damn handsome.. whooa.! i was really love at first sight to him in love contract he was just so simple in love contract but in DBY and why why love he became more handsome.. hahah!
i like this drama because it is not so heavy and kinda makes me smile in there small things or actions.. and even there small actions it could make me "kilig".. haha!

don't know didn't really like it but it was all right thought my sister didn't like it at all don't know why. she say she don't like mike but i'm sure after she watch the love contract she'll love him. i'm in love with him even more now that ariel andn they did love contract together.

This was a heaps good drama ;D They really found hot guys for it like Mike hehe ~ I dont know why but his bunch of friends were good & they played a bigger role then friends do in dramas. Ko Kai had a awsum voice LOL i dont know why. MIKE HE <3

It is a good romantic comedy to watch, if you are expecting a sweet cute drama with a happy ending. Raine and Mike He look good together.

this is the 1st drama i watched that has Mike He in it..he does not disappoint me and i think he is really suitable as Ah Meng..bad boy, with devilish good looks and a kind heart. Very good chemistry with Rainie too..I started to like Mike and he is really good!! Overall, a good and entertaining teen drama!

This is one of my favorites of all time. The story was engaging and entertaining. All the characters had chemistry. There were many memorable scenes. The ending I must agree didn't give a definite closure. I think them having Ah Mon leaving on the same day as their parents wedding made it kind of sad.

i liked it but the end was weird. he left for a whole year with the mother. why would she do that? >< and why would he ah emng actually go with her? but everything else was pretty good.

I finally gets to see it! Though it was bit dissapointed..the storyline totally sucks and the charcters are not that cool..I thought the begging was funny, when she confess her love to Yuan Yi..and the part where she was thinking that he was in the hall way and she ran to him with her body all shaking and squlling like an idot..it funny! I don't even liked the part where Qi Yue and Ah Meng I liked it when it is Yuan Yi and Qi Yue friend story better..I thought it was going to be really good because of all the compliments about "Devil beside You" but it wasn't as good as "Prince turn to Frog" It just my oppinion by the way.

You know what?? I completely absolutely agree with you when you say that Mike He isn't that handsome. You're not the only one who thinks mike he isn't that great looking.. I agree that he had WAYY TOO MUCH hair in this drama.. but also, I don't know if it's just me, but he kind of looks girly. I know I probably insulted tons of mike he fans... but I just needed to express what I thought of him. But his acting isn't that bad. I just thought his 'evil smile' looked creepy beyond belief. and rainie's performance was really nice. she's perfect for that part.

i just LOVE dis movie man!!! Ah Meng is so sexy!!! Que Yi DOES look innocent doe... lmao. Yuan Yi, i felt sad foe him b-cuz he got dissed. but he finally found his wun true love. Que Yi's best fren. *sigh* dis movi3 was EXCELLENT!!!!

I thought this drama was alright, but over emphasized ah meng's coolness like the part where he jumped into the river to save the far sighted girl, the camera did a repeat of slow motion and the river was only 1 inch. I think Rainie liking Mike was sudden, there wasn't much explanation to why. Also I find something contradicting, Mike told Rainie that she liked the other dude based on her liking but the other dude was really the dude that Rainie liked. He was sweet. O yea something interesting I observe and I am open minded on this idea so that means I don't mind. I have notice this type of storyline is considered incest and no one finds it disgusting, but for k dramas like Tree of Heaven,etc, ppl go all "gross" about it. I think DBY went beyond the concept as their parents are expecting one. Then again, it could be culture differences in perspective.

I watched this in about a day and a half and it was very good. I wanted a sequel!! Being a fan of the manga, i thought they were going to mess up a bit of it just like they messed up hana yori dango with meteor garden and stuff but i was pretty surprised. It was very good. Lovely acting from both of them although Ah meng had such weird hair!!! hehe. I suppose its for the bad boy image but the hair was definitely funny!

i love this drama! i even finished it in 3 days altogether! both QiYue and AhMeng are such a pair! but what's up with those pins in AhMeng's hair? eww. really, he need a hair cut mann. still, Mike is really a hawt chick, and Rainie is a charming one. i find the ending very rushed, and i totaly disagree with ngoc anh, AngryBaby and rainoneme. oh, and i love those parts when QiYue does those funny face of hers! especially when she hand the love letter to the wrong person, LOL! and FYI : Mike, Rainie and Kingone( YuanYi ) are acting in another new movie called 'ExchangeLove'. the URL : http://wiki.d-addicts.com/Exchange_Love wherelse rainie is acting ANOTHER show called 'FreshTomatoForSauce'

My cousins and peers award two thumbs up and said this is a MUST watch drama. My regrets if I did not adhered to their advise. True to their compliments, I finished watching in 2 days. Enjoyed tremendously and find it very compelling. Kudos to the two protagonists – Mike is sure a drop dead gorgeous and Rainie is sweet and pretty. They are really a heaven match in the drama. The impact they left on me deep enough looking forward to their new upcoming drama.

this is such a sweet, fun series to watch - lighthearted and simple, just like cotton candy...Rainie Yang was adorable and really hilarious (she has excellent comic potential!) and Mike He was hot. It isn't the best or most thought-provoking series out there, but a great one to watch if you need a break from more tragic dramas.

i really dislike this drama this drama was bad.i totally agree with AngryBaby and rainonme. I don´t like taiwanese dramas too much because i think there´s a bad acting and quite odd story-line.I adore only 1 or two taiwanese dramas.

I'm not a sap for romantic movies or tv dramas. However, this one seriously got to me. I had goosebumps and was crying for hours after the last episode. Yeah, I know I'm a freak. I definetly agree w/ AngryBaby. I generally don't like Taiwanese series (bad acting, too unrealistic, corny scenes/lines). Though there were scenes that made my heart jump (like the scene where Raine raises her hand and confesses) but over all I couldn't help but beat myself for watching this cr@p so I didn't finish (i'm at episode 6 and do not have the intension to finish unless I'm just absolutely bored with my life) Personally I like It Started with a Kiss a lot better, though I didn't finish that either. Why cant they have the similar quality as the Korean dramas ??? All said, I'm currently hooked on Smile Pasta, which basically has the same plot as Full House, but because this is filmed in 2006, the quality is better. We girls go for the male lead and Smile Pasta definitely has the best looking Chinese actor (gotta see for yourself so I won't mention the name here.) Anyways, if you have time on your hand, dont watch this. Watch SmilePasta (currently airing as of 9/3)

It's one of the best Taiwanese series I've watched and I love the chemistry between Mike and Rainie. Towards the end, I find it to drag on a bit with the complication of the new arrivals but thank god that at least there aren't too many stupid misunderstandings. I love the way Mike expresses his feelings and his love for her but some of his lines are really unrealistic. No guys talk like that in reality and if they do, you immediately wonder which script they copied off. Overall it's a great series and definitely worth watching/purchasing.

the casts in this drama are cute. the storyline is acceptable. i think it is suitable for youngsters. there were however, touching scenes and unforgettable lines. this is just another okay drama for me

i agree with your opinions. i think meteor garden is such a good drama because it has situations where it is more harsh then devil beside you. devil beside you was a little too fast. it went from one part of the drama to another too fast. meteor garden had many different thing going on yet devil beside you has one main point which was to stay in love without affecting their parents' marriage. and the ending (as pinkie pink said) was rushed. it was just mike arriving and that was it.

Yes I think you are so right about the ending! When I saw this a few episodes of this series in Taiwan, it was a must see! But when I got to the ending, it did not satisfy me at all! Although the rest of the series was well written and directed, I think the ending did not really meet up to the standards of the rest of the series. But anyway it was one of the most sweetest series I have ever seen.=)

i've been watching korean series for the longest time. the only taiwanese drama that i've wathced before was meteor garden 1 & 2 and after that it's korean all the way... this series is pretty refreshing... the first time i've watched mike he (rainie yang i've known from meteor garden) he's okay. not the best actor, but he has potentials. the only thing that i don't like is the ending although it's a happy one... yeah it's kinda rush they could have made a diff ending or prolonged it a bit.
