Aside from a couple terrible scenes, the special effects were enjoyable but like most series that uses special effects they used too much and hand-to-hand combat was almost non existent. Why can't they find the right amount of both? It's still a good series.

i agree with you. this series is so overrated. most of the actors really cant act. only the raymond love triangle in this series is good and that is because they were good actors. the plot wasnt good, the fighting was ALL graphics. the battle between good and evil in this series was really corny. ron ng's acted like a log. i can go on and on. i think the 1.5/5 rating is pretty generous lol.

I didnt think sau ling was selfish. she broke kau jong's heart not only for her family but because she found out yuk chi likes him too i think she is 'way dai' and i by they i love this series but too bad kau jong dies in the end so sad!

This was a very good series, the battles were awesome with graphics, the actors and actresses were great, Ron was a little stiff though. I loved the character Wan Wan, too bad she didnt get much out of the series. Ky Chung and Yuk Chi were awesome! Totally Loved that couple!! This is a very good series that I recommend people to watch!

I think this movie is fabulous My favourite characters are Nancy Wu and Leila Tong because Im thier fan Its cool to see people fight mostly with powers

i think twins of brothers were awesome though i agree that Ron acting chi ling was boring. but i think that kay chong and yuk chi is a great couple together powerful than for the love for sau ling! i totally recommend this series to everyone!

i agree with rt4e. Tavia and Leila's characters were very boring because that was how they were supposed to act and that was how their characters were supposed to be (blunt and wooden). I think they can act great as well if they can get more challenging roles like Nancy and Li Qian. Ron still needs some more work with his acting while Raymond did terrific as usual. Overall i giv this series a rating of 4.5/5. I juz love the fighting scenes!

Overall the series is terrible. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I only like Christine parts especially with the evil guy.

I think both Leila and Tavia did a great job. True. Leila's character was very boring sometimes, but thats how she is suppose to act. I dont like the idea about the two female leads, Tavia and Leila, didnt got interesting and challenging characters like Li Qian and Nancy.

I loved this series! I agree with the review too, and I think the cast was really good. Li Qian and Raymond Lam were awesome together, and this series was really worth watching in my opinion. There was a lot of chemistry between all the actors, and I guess the only truly unfortunate thing about TOB is that Raymond died in the end.

Christine was actually playing a part for a KOREAN assasin, so that was why she was wering korean clothes...not chinese.

For this series I find the storyline really boring. I just love the cast and the humorous moments. I really liked Ron Ng, Raymond Lam, Nancy Wu (her outfit is cute, it is really bright and pretty) and Li Qian. I am a fan of Leila Tong but her character is just too boring in this series. Li Qian and Nancy Wu's fun, loving characters are really cute and funny. I have only watched bits and pieces of this series, it is too long and boring.

This is a good movie in long time... I like Kau Chong and Yuk Chi becuz they are cute together... Kau Chong did not die in the end, becuz I think that he still alive if he could talk with Tzee Ling in the end.

This was one of the best series that I had seen from TVB. The scenary was beautiful, each character had his or own story. I didn't like the ending though. I would have liked it better if Ron was the person that died b/c Yuk Chi deserved to be with Kau Chong!

I really liked this series because it was clear that you could see the two stories, one of good and evil and one of war and power. I have to admit that I like the beginning more when both were together. Also the romance in this story was great. Ramond Lam and the Li Qian had really good scenes that were just priceless Most memorable was the scene when they where in the room with holes in the wall to make it look like stars. Lol. That was really nice. This movie always gave a lot of great scenery and costumes. Really worth watching.

the girl who played Yu chi is pretty and cute, but darn it why she have a mole? Did she actually have it in real life or did tvb put it on her as part of the character design? Leila is pretty but her role bores me.

I really like this movie. Its a very touching movie. I just don't like the last part were they died. I like how Leila acts and Nancy.

From the outset, this series failed to engage me for a second as i soon realised what a poor cast and ridiculous plot it had. Raymond seriously underacts this role and Ron is as uncharismatic as in Triumph in the Skies. They are both extremely dislikeable and Ron is at best unimpressionable. Tavia ahs potential for bigger and better roles. I found it torturous to bear more than 30mins of it at a time and ended up giving up on it altogether once the plot started to become lame and ridiculous. Another below average half effort by TVB.
