For the record - I only write on what I've watched...hence 'review'. (bar a few fast forward moments which I believe I'd be forgiven for)

And yes ... this is an opinionated and therefore biased synopsis - I hope that was obvious

nowhere near top standard but awwww the nostalgia

The Dance of Passion 2006

DOP althought was a disappointment in general I believed was underrated by viewers. I agree with the flaws of the production and at time erratic story line.

My one disagreeement, is I personally thought Ada and her character was one of the only ones worth watching. Ming Fung was very irritating, crying and squealing like in War of Beauty - she was meant to be strong and dependable but I would rather hand my life over to Jiu Yuk any day

Devil Beside You 2005

Too much posing of Mike He with stupid smirk
Too much crying from Rainie
Two really annoying and gay parents
Too much use of song (Ai Mei) and music
Too corny and forced ending (why did he 'have' to leave???? And don't they have phones or email ??)

Just a comment to that below. In history the real DJG did not have an affair with the King. She really did achieve the impossible by herself. The series added the love line in no doubt to make it more interesting - if anything the series undermined DJG's achievement

i thought it was fresh that the leads didn't have a romantic story line
