Journey to the West 1996

Just to comment on one of the comments below.
Dicky Cheung did play the monkey king in this series. The sequel to this series, which continues their journey, had Dicky Cheung replaced by Benny Chan.
Later in 2004 or 2005, Dicky reappeared as Monkey King in a new nonsensical JTTW that featured Twins (Gillian Chung and Charlene Choi) as well.
