I would consider this series as a spin-off rather than sequel to 'Survivor's Law'. The plot was disappointing where Sammul's character had too many unresolved issues and the ending was inconclusive.
Great series. Jordan Chan's acting was witty, humorous and charming, reminiscent of The Duke of Mount Deer 1998. It is unfortunate that this was a short series, crumbling the ending and not letting it develop into a more sophisticated finale.
The over-exaggerated optimism of the main characters were pulled to the extremes making the film very childish. This was also added to by the extensive animation and to some extent the flimsy costuming for the lesser gods. The acting was poor particularly on the parts by Linda Chung and Benny Chan. Though Benny's acting is always poor in my opinion.
Entertaining but with such a large cast the script was required to provide for all which lead to annoying smaller stories in the larger picture that could have been simplified or left out all together.
The beginning was intriguing up until the first quarter but then the plot just got sloppy, tedious and boring. So much for the high expectations. It kinda just crashed and burned.
I didn't like this series. I think it deterred away from the first series too much and didn't seem like a sequel. They introduced new main characters and the focus was just on them.
An interesting interpretation of a domestic household. This series shows you the hierarchy of a household but also the disaters it makes when mutiny occurs and a selfish general takes new ranks. This series has a unique composition where the spotlight was given evenly around to the characters who each had a story of there own at different points in the series. Humourous, sweet and interesting, and worth a watch.
Your first impressionn may be "it's dumb and just a copycat of Infernal Affairs". However, although this series makes reference to the hit 2002 hk film, it manages to develop into a neat story of it's own along the way. This series series is simple with nothing extraordinary but somehow it's very easy to watch and will hook you in till the end.
Depressing to an extent of annoyance. The plot is alright but the lead female character played by Charmaine Sheh was just annoying. Her constant apologies and sobbing can drive you isane making her character very despisable. Besides that you could say she had it all coming to her, as she was the one who crushed the fate of her own and of others. Some may enjoy it for it is a tragedy but it's not for everyone. The series is short and has a depressing ending and just seems out of place.
A very long and tedious series to watch but it you like doctor series i guess you wouldn't mine it. Just have to say the theme songs chosen for this series are very annoying. Can't say i liked the serious but can't say i hated it 'cause i managed to finish it. The appealing rate i guess varies from viewer to viewer.
Not really an appealling series to watch. The plot was just boring with just the typical troubling love stories within, and the acting was just crap. This series is just to soft and naive and if you weren't desperate for entertainment you wouldn't watch it.
Enjoyable in some sense but can't say i really like the ending. Their attempt to make a silly comedy into a serious drama really didn't work, it just made the characters seem like try hards pretending to know everything. When you start with comedy genre you should really stick with it not change it into a thrilling drama with mysteries to solve.
This series may have it's humourous bits but they were so lame. I feel this series is dumb and stupid with not much of a plot. It gets annoying and will only appeal to some.
Finally, one worth watching. Shame that tvb's productions have been going down the hill the past decade and viewers are now more into korean series and probably won't watch this thrilling series.
Excelled my initial low expectations.
