The Return of the Condor Heroes 1983
this was the first 1980's drama i watched and it made me fall in love with TVB 80's. the costumes, lively casts, majestic background, and beautiful music made TVB 80's very neat even though it lacked the technology to produce today's dramas. loved this adaption the most, but have yet to watch the 90's version with Louis Koo and Carmen Lee so dont want to decide which one of the two is the best. still need to get this one to complete the 80's condor heroes trilogy. overall great cast and great adaption.

Demi Gods and Semi Devils 1982
my favorite TVB series of all time. love the chemistry of all the actors. lovely costumes and great cast. i cant find it in my heart to replace anyone especially Chan Fok Sang. her character mad me hate her so much that it made me love her at the same time. it also introduced me to Yeung Pan Pan who played her role fantastically and stole my heart. although it didnt follow the story as well as i wanted to, i love the twist. i just hate the rushed ending and believe that it could have ended better.

i think what caught my attention the most was seeing all the five tigers of TVB 80's in this drama along with some of the greatest actors within TVB at the time. i would have like to see Simon Yam as one of the Yangs or Poon brothers though. although it was very short it was fantastic because it was not too draggy.
