When The Heart Finally Sang

Being in the in-crowd was not so easy for Jane and Edward, they were known as the “geeks” of the campus. They were nothing compared to other students. Others were so rich and famous, but them, nothing but brains.

On the other hand, with fortunate lives, Charlotte and Robin were the famous love team, the heartthrob and the beauty queen (what a combination!), the ones who were admired by almost every student. Charlotte seemed enjoyed of her fame, but Robin was not. For him, something is missing, but he doesn’t know what.

Back to the geeks, Jane was tired of being branded as a “geek”, she was being so good that people were so mean to her and her best friend. While Edward enjoys his time with Jane, she just doesn’t know or maybe she’s just blind of the unfading love of her best friend, Edward.

Jane, as a simple person, never dreamt of luxury and a fabulous life. She was not like the other girls who admire Robin, the heartthrob. She didn’t like his attitude even if she hasn’t met him before. Because for Jane, heartthrobs are bad boys and nothing changes when you meet them.

Robin was known as the cutest guy in school, he is rich and famous. He is the captain ball of the school’s basketball team. But no one knew that behind his achievements, there is emptiness inside, his passion for music. He could compose songs in his mind. But unfortunately, Charlotte disagreed of Robin’s passion. It’s corny for her. She didn’t like their image to be destroyed. She’s so selfish and worried of the people thinking twice to admire them again.

But even if feeling down of Charlotte’s opinion, he continued his dream. Besides, they were only love teams, beyond that, nothing. So, why not settle for his dream?

The world really is small. While Robin was auditioning for the lost of the band’s guitarist and composer, Jane saw him, and swore that Robin won’t be in. Jane has the power to choose her members for she was the vocalist of the band. She didn’t know why she has a bad temper for Robin. Maybe she knew that Robin was boastful of his looks and she didn’t know why girls idolized her.

But Robin’s audition piece was perfect. His voice was enchanting. And there’s no reason for him to be out, so she voted him in.

Upon lots of practices and rehearsals, the madness of Jane, went gone. It just flew away. It’s because of her wrong thinking of Robin. He’s not that bad. And as a matter of fact, he’s gentleman.

They were having good times whenever they talk to each other. Not always about music but also their goals in lives. Jane thinks that Robin is a nice guy.

Months passed, they became the best of friends. Jane now didn’t care of Edward. Then, Edward found out that Robin befriended Jane. He got jealous. Edward find a way to separate them…
