A strange tale of twists and fates set in early Sung Dynasty about a foreign princess on the run and on a quest to recover her Gatekeeper Heritage. In a chance encounter, she meets Kong Ming, the infamous son of Kong Siu Yu (from Gu Long's famous novel "Chuet Doi Seung Geiu" -- The Handsome Siblings), who comes to her aid.
For those who are familiar with Gu Long lore, the novelist never wrote a continuation of this novel. Since the four main characters survived at the end, I thought it would be interesting to write something about their next generation. My story is a continuation (with a Pao Ching Tien spin) of the "Chuet Doi Seung Geiu" serial based on the 1980's TVB version that starred Tony Leung (Kong Sui Yu), Lai Mei Han (Tiet Sum Lan), Ng Doi Yung (Fa Mo Kuet) and Tse Ling (So Ling).
The original Gu Long novel talked about twins who were separated at birth and became friends later on only to find out that they were pawns in a deadly matchup/duel for revenge of a spurned love.
I'm not going into details of whose in it and playing what. You'll have to keep reading to find out, but I promise a lot of surprises and excitement.
