Love and More Love

“I have something to tell you!” Arron, Jiro, and Danson yelled.
“What is it?” I yelled back.
“I LOVE YOU!” they said together.
From that second every thing went blank. I never have guessed that these kinds of things can happen to me! This all happen so fast. I can’t remember the time when we were just friends. I guess they had liked me a long time, just that I don’t really think that this would really happen. It was a dream come true but in the other hand, it might be a nightmare.
It all started a month ago, when we were just friends. We had been friends for a bit long time now. We had been friends since when I started this acting job. I mean it is not the best kind of job to get right after graduating from the University of California. It might not be the best school either but I mean at least I graduated, I mean some of my friends didn’t even graduate from college. Sadly, I was so stupid; when I got out I had no job so I sign up for the Taiwan beauty contest and won. Now I am an actress who doesn’t even know anything about acting. I think I am going to die, well at least that was what I thought that time, but right after I saw them I didn’t think the way I thought a few minutes ago. They are the dream of a girl, they are what every girl’s dream boyfriend would be: hot, smart, caring…….. If I have to name all the greatness of them it might take 1 whole day to say it.
“Hi,” I said to them thinking that they won’t even notice.
“Hi, I’m Arron,” Arron said. “This is Jiro, Zun, and Calvin we are the team Fahrenheit and this other dude right here is Danson Tang.”
“Hi,” I said again.
“So I heard that you graduated from the University of California, I graduated from the University of Victoria,” Calvin pronounced.
“Yea, and well I graduated from a college,” Jiro added.
“Of course you graduated from college, every one graduated from college, well maybe for Arron since he is still in college,” Zun said.
“You are still in college?” I asked stupidly.
“Yeah,” he answered.
“How old are you?” I asked.
“22,” he said.
“Really, I only 21,” I said.
“No way, you already graduated,” he said.
“Yeah, but I like skipped 2 grades,” I said. Just then another group of people came in.
“Hi,” I said to them. They stopped.
“Hi, my name is Owodog,” Owodog introduced, “this is Prince, A-Wei, William, Brian, and Fabien we are the LolliPop.”
“Hi you all,” I said.
“Are you here for the role placement too?” Prince asked me.
“Yeah,” I answered. Then the door opened again and came in three girls.
“Hi,” I said to the three girls.
“Hi new girl, I’m Ella,” Ella said, “this is Hebe and this is Selina we are S.H.E.”
“So what is your name, new person?” Hebe asked.
“Patricia,” I answered.
“Hi Patricia,” Selina said. Then after intruding every one they split up and talked among groups of friends.
“Why are you not talking to them,” I ask Danson thinking that he is too lonely.
“I don’t know I just don’t feel like talking today,” he replied.
“Oh,” I said cheerfully. “So how old are you?”
“24,” he replied.
“So you and that team Fahrenheit are friends, huh?” I questioned.
“Yeah,” he said.
“Am I getting you bored?” I asked.
“No, why?” he asked.
“Well you are not talking to me, you just sits there and answer my question like it is a test or something,” I said.
“No you are not boring me, but I do think that you are a little talkative,” he said.
“Hey that is rude,” I said.
“What,” he asked.
“You said I am talkative,” I replied.
“But you are,” he answered.
“Not really, I think it is because you don’t talk to me that much, that is why you think that I am talkative,” I said.
“I am talking to you!” he joked.
We talked and laughed for 10 minutes, and then a guy interrupted us by saying “roles are posted.” We walked to the board. To my surprise I got the second leading role but I don’t even have any acting experiences. The main girl character was Ella and the main guy character was Zun. The guy that was interrupted me and Danson came over to give us the parts and said, “Remember the date that we first film is on Friday of this week, don’t be late!” At first I thought that the script was going to be English. I was wrong! It was in Chinese and I barely know how to read and write in Chinese how am I suppose to read the script. I stared in horror, don’t know what to do. Just when all most every one left Arron, Jiro, and Danson came up to me and ask me do I need help. I was so happy! The first thing that I can think of saying was “yes and thank you.” We set the time to be tomorrow that we are going met again at my house (I told them where I live). We said our goodbyes and went home.
At home I tried to see how much I know to read. I barely know how to read half.
“Oh well, I will just get help tomorrow,” I said to my self. I slept until 9 that day. I woke up, got dress, and was getting ready to go down stair to get breakfast when the doorbell rung. I opened it and there stands Arron, Jiro and Danson.
“Good morning,” Arron said, “Ready for our practice/help, today?”
“Uh, yeah, I guess,” I said.
“Did you eat yet?” Jiro asked.
“No not yet,” I replied.
“Do you want to eat right now or do you want to practice right now?” Danson asked.
“I don’t really care, if you want to eat right now then we can eat together, or if you want to eat later by yourselves, I can deal with that too,” I said.
“Well since we don’t really have anything to do later, so let’s go eat,” Arron said.
“Fine with me,” I said. Then we went downstairs and found ourselves a noodle place and went in. We ate for 20 minutes and we talked about how are like in our normal life. When it was time to pay the bill the boys all say let me pay, and I just told them that we should just pay for our parts and then we went upstairs.
“Wait,” take off your shoes,” I said entering the house, “I don’t want to get my carpet dirty.”
“I don’t think that you want Jiro to take of his shoes,” Arron said.
“Why?” I asked.
“His feet stink really badly,” Danson informed.
“Yeah,” Jiro admitted.
“Well, ok then just be careful where you step,” I said, “What about you guys are you going to take off your shoes?”
“Yeah,” Arron and Danson said.
“So where should we start off,” I questioned.
“How about start from where you don’t know,” Arron said.
“Well, I don’t really know how to read all of it because you know I am from America,” I said.
“How about we just read part one and two for today?” Danson said.
“That will be a good start, but we should teach her how to read the script first,” Jiro said. They told me that acting is not really that hard; if I do not know how to read the whole thing it is ok.
“When we act it out, you can just replace words of you own. You will get the hang of it soon,” Arron said.
“Yeah when you get really stuck on a part, the director will try to help you so you will not die,” Jiro said.
“But just remember that don’t make a really big mistake, the director does not like that,” Danson informed.
“Who is the director for our movie,” I asked.
“I am not really sure, actually no one knows yet who the director will be,” Jiro said.
“Oh,” I said, “So should we start?” We practice until 5:00 pm and then Arron got a call from his parent and said that he has to go and Jiro and Danson left with him. I stayed home and study the script and thought to my self that it will be pretty easy if I do what they taught me. I stayed up until 10:00 pm and fell asleep. I woke up at 8 by a call from Calvin.
“Hello?” said into my phone sleepily.
“Hi, do you still remember me, I am Calvin,” Calvin said.
“Yeah, I remember you,” I said, “You are friends of Arron, Jiro, and Danson.”
“Yeah,” he answered, “Hey I want to ask you a question.”
“What?” I asked.
“Had you ever been to Canada?” he asked.
“Yeah,” I replied, “but I lived most of my life in Las Vegas though.”
“Oh, ok,” he said. We did not talk for a long time, because we did not know what to say to each other, the worst thing is when meting friends is that you are both the same, if you are the same then you don’t really have anything to talk about.
“So,” I finally said.
“I got to go,” Calvin said.
“Um, ok,” I said and then we hung up.
“Now I am a wake what should I do?” I asked myself pacing. Then I decided. I am going to go shopping, since I don’t know who the director is, I should dress pretty good to give them a good impression. So I went downstairs and across the street and called a taxi. It cost $15 to get to the mall, but it was worth it. At the mall I brought a new bag, three new pairs of jeans, five new shirts, and a pair of new shoes, the total cost was only $200. I was surprised at how cheap these things were. At 4:00 pm I went home and practice my script.

I woke up at 7 am, scared of today. What is today? Today is Friday. The day that I have to go act out the script. I will be ok, I think I will be ok, I mean I keep reading the script over and over again. Now I pretty much memorize the movies and the words. I got dress and went down stairs to get something to eat and go to the place we have to meet. I arrived at the filming place at 8 am and we start filming at 9:30 am. I was the first one there; the director was not even there. Then I took out my script and begin reading, just when I have read to the second page the door opened. It was a young man, about 30 years old. He came up and sat down right next to me, I did not know who he was, so I kept on reading. 15 minutes later Jiro came in and came to sit next to me, the guy next to me have gone to the other side of me and was sleeping. “Hi,” I said to Jiro.
“Hey what’s up?” he asked.
“Pretty good,” I said.
Are you ready for today?” he asked.
“Yeah, I had been practicing, like day and night,” I answered, “how about you?”
“Me,” Jiro laughed. “I am so ready!” We sat there talked about how it was in Las Vegas for me and about 9 am people started coming in. First came Danson, then Arron, and then I forgot who came in after then because we were busy talking. At 9:30 am every one came but the director has not yet arrived. Then Ella went up to the guy who was sitting across from me, sleeping and asked him who he was and asked if he know who the director is.
“Is every one here?” questioned the men.
“Yeah,” Ella replied.
“Ok let’s get to work,” the man said, stand up, and took his hat off. “I am your director and I am also the second main guy character.”
“Jay?” Ella said.
