yes. well deserved. he has a cute smile. though the rings always look so painful! i'm more looking foward to the parallel bars though. it's a shame they didn't have a guy on the vault.

Cute? I find those guys wierd looking, they look like 12 till they raise their arms and it's like a jungle there. They sure as hell are buff though, I'll give you that much. If I were those guys I would shave it all so it wouldn't look so wierd, from a guy's experience, alot of hair + sweats = some nasty odor.

    ....

Wouldn't a guy without armpit hair look gay?

Too much isn't that great either is it?? But I guess it wouldn't because don't swimmers usually shave em? Yet girls in this forum still have the hots for Phelps.

no, a guy with out hair is still ok, but a 12 years old looking guy with jungle to show is very weird looking. Not only swimmers shaves but most athletes shaves because they sweats alot and like I said hair + sweats isn't a good combo, I know from experience haha.

Normally guys with body hair will usually have some sort of facial hair to have that rugged look, but these guys looks like 12 with very clean face and no hair anywhere, they lift their arms up and WOW, wtf haha.

So far China has 41 gold medals and the US has 25 gold medals. Although, the olympics isn't over; China might get 50 gold medals : o

China's gold run is slowing down while the US is picking up.

China has 43 at the moment. Is 7 more possible? Max: 2 in diving, 2 in table, maybe 1 in boxing, maybe 1 in beach/volleyball, any in taek/rhythmic?

I'd be happy with anything over 49.

For US: maybe baseball, 1 in softball, maybe 1 in soccer, 1 in volley/beach, 1-2 in basketball, and there are still heaps in athletics and boat sports, maybe some in boxing/taek. Hopefully not more than 20.

Wow, men's gymanstics are a MONSTER this year! SO AMAZING...they could've had a gold streak if it wasn't for vault, but let's not be too greedy.

I think Li Shan shan was the top contender for beam...but apparently Cheng Fei was the only one who got close. Ah well.

I predict at least 1-2 more medals in diving muhahhaa....I really want them to continue the winning streak. Although i can imagine the pressure for the last 2 diving competitions. It would totally suck for the last diver if they lost the streak. But even so, that's ok because they've already done totally amazing.

Anyone watch rhythmic gymnastics here? That's gonna start later on in the week.

Trampoline looked fun! And I imagine it's less painful to fall =P

On a side note, Qin Kai is HOT stuff. Too bad he only got 3rd place.

    China: 44
    USA: 26

USA better win enough in their athletics etc. Otherwise China should win this one.

Watched his routine today and I was wondering... doesn't it hurt whenever he caught the bars with his armpits? And I think he performed that a few times.

45 to 26. Only 21 athletic events remaining after this. Realistically US have a fair chance in 12 of these events max. I doubt they will get more than 7 golds in the remaining athletics. China still has 4 in diving/table tennis.
