“You don't see series like this everyday!”
Can't agree more. This is a very special series. Unique topic with final result, considering the limitation in time and budget for a story spanning almost a decade. The script gives opportunities for the actors to perform well, and the actors deliver their best. Excellent !

Superb drama that supported by strong storyline and cast. From 1917 to 1997, such long time to describe several major China historical events. The producer himself Lee Kwok Lap is well-known to produce ancient series in Mainland recently.
