Nah, it's really just to see the demographics here. I'm a big fan of alot of the other characters too. My second favorite character is XF.

To make this poll valid, we'll need a large enough sample...and that means adequate polling time. Since people are in and out of the forums, and this is the holiday season, I suggest that the poll remain open for at least two weeks before any final tallying is done.

Also, we should probably limit the number of off-topic posts (like mine here, and the "joke" posts) to make it easier to count votes.

Yea. I intended to leave this survey on for a long time. It wasn't meant to be a quick poll. I really want to get a sense of where our demographics are. And by counting each person by name, we'll get a more accurate reading instead of people clicking a poll data which can be tamper with. So, It'll be interesting to see.

I must point out that the proper way of doing this type of demographic survey is to get people to compile a short list in order of preference.

From there you assign weights for the positions (easiest and simplest is #1 get 3, #2 get 2, #1 get 1 points if the list is only allowed 3 characters).

Add up the points from each person and order the characters.

That would be problematic too. Some people just like 1 or 2 heroes and couldn't care less of the others. How do u expect these guys to make a list in order of preference?
