The only series I saw this guy was in was a modern series set in Shang Hai with Hu Bing and Cu Ying. If you guys know what I'm talking about, (with Bao Jian Feng's spiked bleach blonde hair, his idiotic character who was a womanizer wannabee and a loud/bigmouth), you guys would understand why I need to erase some of that trecherous memories from watching that series. His first impression on me was pretty....permanent. lol. But I will check out his other series.

You should definitely watch more of Bao Bao's series. Don't let his character in one show prevent (and maybe more appropriately, deprive) you of discovering a very diverse and talented actor. I know some other people hated Bao Bao after watching him as Li Zhi in Zhi Zun Hong Yan (The Legend of Wu Mei Niang) because his character was so useless and kept the two main lovebirds apart. To me, that just proves that Bao Bao did a great job. Li Zhi wasn't meant to be a protagonist or a good emperor. Bao Bao's character in Zhen Qing Gao Bie wasn't supposed to be a model guy. He just made Hu Bing's character look better.

If the characters he plays determine whether you like an actor or not, then I think you would definitely dig Bao Bao in 18 De Tian Kong (in which he plays a character he says that's closest to his real life personality), Qing Tian Ya Men, and Qin Wang Li Shi Min, amongst others.

The ancient series with Vincent Jiao is called 18 Luo Han. 18 Sui De Tian Kong is a modern idol comedy series. I posted more info plus a couple of links about it on the previous page of this thread if you're interested.
