Hi all. I've decided to take on the task of completing the translation of Gu Long's "Duoqing Jianke, Wuqing Jian". This translation was originally started by Meh but he stopped at Ch.62 some time ago. After talking to Trinie who was originally suppose to continue the translation but is currently bogged down by schoolwork, I'll try my best to work through to the end.
Since its been so long since the last update, here is a short summary of the recent happenings in the few chapters before:
Li XunHuan has met up once again with Ah Fei, and has realized that Ah Fei is only a shadow of his former self. For the past few years, Lin XianEr has been slowly drugging him. Combined with the fact this his spirit has softened up due to love, Ah Fei's skills are nowhere near their former level.
Li XunHuan in an effort to bring Ah Fei back to his old form, makes a deal with Lu FengXian. In exchange for any request in the future, Lu FengXian would purposely lose to Ah Fei so that he can regain his confidence. This happens and afterwards, Li XunHuan has another request for Lu FengXian, this time not as a deal but this time as a favor for a friend. He asks him to kill Lin XianEr.
Afterwards, Ah Fei sees three figures pass by. The first is Old Man Sun. The second is Jin WuMing. The third is ShangGuan Fei. After trailing them for some time, he sees Jin WuMing and ShangGuan Fei at the top of a hill facing off. ShangGuan Fei accuses Jin WuMing of stealing his place as ShangGuan JinHong's favorite, that ever since Jin WuMing was born out of wedlock, ShangGuan Fei's mother's place was displaced and he had known nothing but sadness since then.
ShangGuan Fei attacks because he is confident that with Jin WuMing's left arm crippled, he had no chance of winning. But to his shock, Jin WuMing attacked with his right arm! In all the years that they trained together, he had never seen Jin WuMing training with his right arm. And his sword went straight into ShangGuan Fei's throat.
Afterwards, Li XunHuan explained that ShangGuan Fei was wrong. The reason that ShangGuan JinHong didn't teach ShangGuan Fei his top killing arts was because he loved his son, and didn't want his own son to lose his humanity.
