All that's mention is tt Ady's the nice leading female with brains and strength. Michael Zhang plays her childhood sweetheart though they'll have a love triangle with another man later. Liu Xue Hua is the other female lead and she plays a villian, pressumably someone who makes life miserable for Ady's kter.

Filming has started this week in Hengdian.

I dont think she looks very good in this type of costume (qing/manchu era type).

i don't think she is suited to those costumes. 1) she doesn't have an ancient look 2) the hairstyle is bad 3) she doesn't look good with collars.

Watched a bit of Xian Jian....Ady is very good. Although her character kinda reminded me of Guo Fu, lol. I really like her voice dubber, whomever they are.

No way! Yue Ru is so much nicer than GF, the only resemblance is probably the spoilt and loud part. And yes, i thought the dubbing was pretty good and in tune with her character..sassy and feisty.

Yeah, its the spoiled and loud part. Only in the beginning though. When she bullies those ppl, and Xiao Yao and Ling'er come, and she's like "ben xiao jie ai zuo shen me jiu zuo she me" (Miss will do what she wants to do). But later on she became more and more nice....I thought it was really cute how she told Xiao Yao that he had to take good care of Ling'er.

Why are her hairdos in acient dramas allways so bad? She does not perfectly fit in acient costumes but with better hairdos one can accept it a lil bit more.
Anyway I'm looking forward to see her in a main lead role again, though the serie seems to be one of those QY-like dramas.

The story is adapted from a Qiong Yao novel if im not wrong

BTW, Ady is recently suspected of having cellulitis, a bacterial infection of the skin after she got bitten by some insects while filming in Hengdian. The crew hurriedly sent her to the local hospital for a check and medicine but her condition did not seem to improve, therefore promopting her management for a request to send her back to Taiwan for a full proper health-check.

No Susu! Rofl. She got hit by a stand or something and hurt her shoulder/arm. And she fell very ill and almost fainted while filming for WROL. I remember her health was so bad that after WROL, her dad insisted she take a couple of months leave and nurse herself back to health in a rural resort.
