pisani, well he's doing really really good when we need him other than that he's hidden. and yeah i really like playing gm in those hocky games, but sometimes the team you build will never actually occur in the nhl and your records are kinda exaggerated.

pisani is a 3rd liner, nothing more. he had a great playoff run, but so did john druce, and he disappear after his run. i have no problem w/ pisani playing 3rd line or getting $1-1.5M, but hes way over paid and i think lowe really blew it w/ dat contract. if ppl think cooke is over paid, pisani is way over paid. thats a contract edm will regret soon imo.

but yea, i once build a team that have on forward bure-forsberg-kariya, jagr-sakic-shanahan, selanne-fedorov-deadmarsh, hossa-allison-naslund. we went somethin like 70-10-2. jagr won the scoring title, sakic hart, fedorov selke, kariya byng, my goalie brodeur won vezina, jagr won the conn smythe and we won the cup. not realistic, but very interesting hehe. i find dat, in EA's nhl game, you cant build a good "balance" team. the team w/ all the stars will usually win. dunno y dat is.

have you played nhl 06 i think it has to do with the overall rating of your team and the chemistry of each line. hell my edmonton oilers were as stacked as possible i pulled off the cup 5 years in a row, haha

yea i like the chemistry thing is nhl06, all my lines have 100% chemistry and i think if u have 100% your players rating goes up by 5? one thing i find annoying is for defensemen, most of them are label defensive dman, and u only get good chem if u pair a offensive D w/ a defensive D. i've try hard to find offensive dmen but some of them have crappy rating so i dont even want them on my team. i cant believe jovanovski isnt an offensive dman, dats a joke.

yeah i get what you mean, when i played, first season bergeron was an offensive defencemen and pronger was a checker, paired them up and i got like a 90% rating. next season bergeron becomes a checker and my chemistry drops to like 60 what the hell is going on. I haven't tried 2k6 so i don't know which game is better. oh one more thing, if they choose to add in all those old jerseys you think they have the hartford whalers, well they don't, that's a shame.

hartford had crappy jerseys anyways, and their logo sucks (even tho its still better then the hurrican's toilet look-alike logo ) actually lookin back, lots of teams have crappy logos (kings, nucks, NYI, caps)

heres a link for nhl2k7 http://www.gameinformer.com/News/Sto...1712.28437.htm. wat i find interesting is dat, in the 2nd pic, they gave crosby the captain C. haha mabbe its time to make sid the leader? but i havent play much of anything other then EA's nhl games, so i dunno if this is much better then last yr's. graphic looks good, but all games have good graphic nowadays, its almost a given. if anybody buys it lemme know if its better then EA's. other then dat, i like the 'cinemotion' feature, it should give more of an real game experience.

the espn, 2k series, i end up pirating it, cause i use my money on the ea line. haha but that's ok, SHHHHHHHHH nobody knows anything, haah I dont' think crosby is ready for the C he gets angry so easy and takes all those retaliation pentalies, is that how a good leader should act? Plus he's been so successful, i think we have to see him stumble a bit b4 he matures. I think he takes everything for granted cause he's such a talented player. I really dont' mean anything bad, but it's part of the road to become successful you have to meet some roadblocks.

Sid the Kid is only a 18 year old rookie. Give him a break. What other rookie out there doesn't make bonehead mistakes?

Looking at how good he is now. Once he has a few years under his belt. He's going to be a really scary player for opposing goalies.

I really have nothing against him, he's a really really good player, but yeah like you said he needs a few years under his belt, you can't rush these things, dont' give him the "c" yet wait a couple years, that's what i'm trying to say.

BTW who saw bufflo's new logo, haha

Not like the Sabres old logo was much better. Either way old or new logo its still hideous.

i like buffalo's last logo, their red jersey was pretty good too. the new one, according to a poster in another forum, looks like the offspring of a horse and a slug

my bro was born on the exact same day, month and year as sidney crosby. ironicly, his favorite young player is ovechkin.

off topic, i took my bro to the casino today for a 110 ppl poker turnament, he finished 2nd, won about $500. he said it was the best bday present i've ever gave him haha.

haha awesome.. I suppose you're from Vancouver? Did you go to the NHL awards or draft 06? Damnit I wish I stopped by downtown at the Center of Performing Arts to see the red carpet honor so I could by some chance, get an auto or two from the stars. I kinda wished I went to the draft as well- only 5 bucks per ticket- and how often is that both the Draft and Awards are held in Vancouver? Damn..

i went to the draft, it was pretty awesome, i took a few pics w/ the stanley cup, saw all the awards, talk to nick kypreos (the sportsnet commentator guy), ALMOST GOT AN AUTOGRAPH FROM OVECHKIN!! i just missed him . i also saw some of the prospects walkin around and got an autograph from a player i've never heard of b4, i still dunno his name cuz his signiture is like a scribble. i was also sitting close to some guy that got drafted in the 2nd round, and u cant imagine how happy he and his family is, it was a magically moment for him. all in all, it was a great experience, i'd say even better than the Allstar FANtasy we had a few yrs back.

i didnt goto the award show, it just cost too much. my friend, who was a canucks season ticket holder, got the whole package for the show (admission to the award + dinner + after party), but it cost $700!! i would've love to goto the after party and meetin ovechkin tho, he looks like a guy that knows how to party hehe.
