Nice one! 3 goals with 9 mins to go on normal time, 2 of them by Cahill. But honestly, Japan should've killed the game off when they had their counterattacking chances.
Japan didnt deserve the first goal - it was clearly a foul!!!!

I know that. But Shwazer being twice the size of Taka should've neutralised the danger. I didn't argue that it was a controversial goal.

Impressive performance from Australia. As impressive as Germany was back in 1998.

Two guys pushed him. The first guy blocked his way and tripped him, the other pushed him after he just jumped and lost his balance. That was not a goal. Goalkeepers are always given advantage when competing for the ball with the opposition. The Egyption referee just forgot the rules there. Wanker.

I feel that he could've punched the ball away after being surrounded, it's the safest option. But I'm not complaining.

Sven should get a few tips from Hiddink. The substitutions just overpowered the Japanese defence, letting them force corners when they shouldn't have done. Other than that wrong decision made by the Japanese goalkeeper, the last 2 goals were class. The Socceroos deserved it.

Yeah but he missed a Japanese favored penalty kick call later on, so it kinda made for it. That ref was shocking though. He wasn't very consistent.

When Cahill came out, he made an immediate impact. That last goal by Aloisi was pure class. I'm so happy Australia won!

I even called the scores right. At half time, when Australia was down 0 - 1, I told my sister that Aus will win 3 - 1. She didn't believe me.

The Czech's have shown that they mean business. They completly dominated the USA. They're pretty much ontop of their game.

To tell you the truth, I didn't believe it myself. It was just everyone was being negative and saying Aus caved again. So I piped up with some positive comments. And it came true

I don't know about u guys but I'm seriously footballed-out already. Frankly, watching 12 games in just 5-6 days is numbing my brain. I just want this to end but for some reason I can't bear to switch the bloody tv off!

Am I the only person who thinks that Iaquinta faked his injury? He was clipped on his heel right, but his eyes took a peep at the ref while he was lying there “in pain.” When he came off the stretcher, he was good as new. He even made a long run to score that 2nd goal. Injury my a**.

Pirlo’s unabashed display of unfair play later on with his rolling-on-the floor antics was just uncalled for. Then the Italians surrounded the ref like it would intimidate the guy. What a disgrace to the human race.

the red devils won against togo..... but it was not an impressive game.....
    they could've scored more....

they are facing tough competition on the 18th against France....

hope they would make it again this time to prove that it's not just home court advantage lasr '02....

    go red devils go

    Ahn Jung Hwan go
