She's one of the leads, so yeah it's a meaty role. She plays a kind and skilled doctor who grew up under difficult circumstances, as she's actually the daughter of a wealthy family who was switched at birth.

Is the series worth watching?

Hi everyone.

I'm so happy to find a some Shirley Dai fan here. Like most of you, I too, came to notice her after watching 'pw'. I'm seem all of her series that I could get me hands on, about a dozen of them in the past three years. I must recommand the serial DA Sheng Hu Han Ni Hui Lai. It was done in 2006 and came out this summer. It got great rating in Shanghai, and I shed a lot of tears watching it.
In this series, Shirley portrays a blind girl, after the death of her father, her step-mother of two years sold her home and left her. The leading man is Shao Bing. And they made some an terrific couple. It's 30 ep. long, but it's really fast paced. I promise that you will enjoy it just as much as I did.
As for Sin, I'm watching in on-line now, on www.tudou.com. But it's really slow and frustrating, however, by reading the story line on sina, I don't believe it will be a happy ending for BaoBao and Shirley. By the way, BaoBao and Shirley are friends. Head her spoke fondly of him on one of the interview. If you can read Chinese, Shirley have a blog on sina. It's http://blog.sina.com.cn/daijiaoqian.
P.S. Shirley is the leading role in almost all of her serials.
