Default I want to Rewatch it!

What are some tv series that you want to rewatch? Perhaps some you've watched when you were younger and didn't quite understand but want to rewatch it again to see if your perception of the series has changed? But now, those series are hard to come by, the rental store doesn't carry it anymore, or you have to buy the DVDs/VCDs to rewatch it?

What are some tv series you've rewatched before and didn't like but now you see it differently and you like it or still don't like it? Name some....

I would like to watch all Jin Yong's dramas again because firstly i like history and secondly, most of the stories are connected in some way or other. Sometimes I am surprised that I missed bits of it when I watch it first time.
The other one is Mong chun Yen with Chow Yun Fatt and Dodo Cheng in it. Remembered everyone was crying when watching the bit hwere Chow Yun Fatt was sent to prison.!

I'd like to rewatch Duke Of Mt. Deer 84 with Tony Leung. When I was younger my parents rented it and they were watching it while I was all left out. I was just sitting there studying the costumes of the eunuchs and the wonderful stunts. Hopefully I would be able to rewatch it someday.

Another choice might be Shell Game? I liked it especially when they use those special "cheating" techniques. Or were they not cheating? Anyways I'll like to rewatch it.

Maybe The Bund? YES! The Bund would make an excellent rewatch. I didn't really watch it when I was younger because I only liked martial art and wuxia films back then. When my parents watched The Bund I'd just walk around the house or sleep.

i'd want to watch revelation of the last heroes again simply because that is my favorite noel leung series of all time..and also against the blade of honor and thief of honor since i can't remember much about these two series.

i'd like to watch the foundation with miu kiu wai, felix wong, and barbara yung since i don't think i understood when i saw it the first time...i was too young. and also the wanderers...i've seen it but i can't remember if i enjoyed it.

I want to rewatch Two Honorable Knights with Tony Leung and Hugo Ng....with Kitty Lai and guest stars Miu Kiu Wai and his wife, Jamie Chik. Watched it back in the 90s and forgot most of what happened. So I wish to rewatch it again and refresh my memory.

DIF1-4/Greed Mask: that was a cool and intresting series.

Secret of the Heart - enjoy this series back in 1998 but only watch some parts of the series, it was quite long so I didnn't the whole thing

Return of the Cuckoo/The Green Hope: when it comes to modern series these two is my favourite......I won't mind re-watching again!!!

Dark Tales: I've watch it and enjoy it but I can't remeber watching it

Journey to the west 1[1996]: The best version and I love it.

I'm always thinking about rewatching old series cos I've got such a bad memory with some of them...maybe not so memorable??!!

Here are a few that spring to mind:
Two Honourable Knights with Tony Leung, Hugo Ng and Hap Hak Han with Tony..cos I used to love them when I was younger but don't remember much!

Challenge of Life and Breaking Point cos I loved Leon.

Looking Back in Anger, LOCH 82, The Link, Cold Blood Warm Heart, Instinct cos they are all classics that I haven't watched in a while.

I'm sure there are loads more...just can't think!

I have just rewatch Game of Deceit by Nick Cheung, Chin Ka Llok and Jessica Hsuen. Nick is soo funny esp the part where he and Chin Ka Lok dressed up as women to try to con people to sell their coins to them both.
I am beginning to enjoy watching Nick Cheung acting esp after The Last Breakthrough.

Same here! I don't quite remember the show other than knowing how much I've loved watching Lau Ching Wan and Margie Tsang in it.

Recently, I've re-watched Once Upon A Time in Shanghai, The Twin Heirs, The In-Between, Fate Cast In the Wind, Turn Around & Die and A Friend In Need. All these I remember watching them in the 80s and 90s but couldn't find them in rental stores anymore. When I subscribed to Jadeworld satellite, I get to watch them again lately, my favorite of all is The Twin Heirs. I love Simon Yam and Cally Kwong in this series and been watching it like 8 times already!!!!

Agreed about 'Threshold of An Era'. I watched the series but I don't remember much of it - three friends and then they kind of drifted apart. And there was a business...lol.

    I wanna rewatch:

The Blood Stained Intrigue - unfortunately, this will NEVER be released on TVB VCD because all of the stars are no longer in showbiz or TVB. So disappointed....

The Taste of Time - fingers crossed.... however, there may be a political reason for TVB not re-releasing this as it covers a particularly painful period of Modern Chinese history.

Some of Roger Kwok's early series such as The Vixen's Tale and Lin Shing Kuet so I can relive some of the memories of why I fell for him so many years ago!

The Final Combat and Stephen Chow's other series such as It Runs in the Family - seriously funny!

The Black Sabre - when Hugo Ng was quite fanciable...

When the Sun Shines - sitcom starring Roger Kwok, Hacken Lee and Lee Ka Sing... VOH eat your heart out!
