Am I the only one that feels sorry for the Chen Princess? I don't know, but I actually wished Chen Princess would get with Fan Li more.... In real history, I don't think Fan Li loved Si Xi did he?

I feel sorry for Princess Chen, but I feel more sorry for Xi Shi. Princess Chen has endure a loveless marriage. Xi Shi has to endure married to a man she doesn't love and has to pretend to love him. Has to do a lot of things against her conscience and kind heart. Has to suffer the guilty feeling of causing her parents to be hated by their neighbours. For many years, she was being thought of as a vixen. I think Xi Shi suffer no less than Princess Chen.

As for real history, I dunno. The version I read may be a combination of folklore and history. But in my version, Fan Li did love Xi Shi.

I'm up to episode 25-26 and still like Prince You. I pity Wu Feng (having such master must be big headache) and also pity Prince You. Prince You is a kindheart man. But he's born in a wrong place and time. He's more humanitarian/artist than warrior. But I actually think he might do a decent job governing Yue Kingdom if he was given true freedom to run it the way he wanted and not have his father breathing down his neck all the time.

Luk Ying hates Wu Feng mainly because he is from Wu. He sees all Wu people as their enemies. However, no deep hate.

Luk Ying was reluctant to kill Wu Feng because he had trusted Wu Feng when he said he is surrendering to Yue.

Damn. Wu Feng already has so little screentime and TVB still want to edit out some of his scenes. I read in Baidu that Wu Feng went and see Yue Girl one last time before she was cremated (He actually told his father that he loved Yue Girl so that his father would tell him where was Yue Girl's body kept). During that time he said to her (corpse) that he really really wanted to live a carefree life together with her. Also, the china version did show why Wu Feng suddenly appeared in Wu Kingdom when he's supposed to be in Yue Kingdom. He was there to ask Fu Chai to reduce the number of recruitment of Yue people for Fu Chai's building projects (I think requested by Prince You).

Also, I think during the time Fan Li asked Wu Feng to dinner, there was also a conversation between Wu Feng and Yue Girl. It must be the part where Yue Girl asked Wu Feng to go out with her, saying she has something to say to him, and left Lu Ying and Fan Li in her house. I always wonder what Yue Girl said to Wu Feng during that time.

Damn. TVB cut Wu Feng scenes again. They cut some many of Wu Feng's touching scenes. Before Wu Feng died, the was actually a very touching conversation between Wu Feng and Lu Ying. It's Wu Feng himself who convinced Lu Ying to kill him.

Dunno whether the DVD sold in video shop will include these scenes or not.

I skimmed through the last 4 episodes and I ended up liking Lu Ying a lot too. He's a combination of Wu Feng and Princess You. He is kind-hearted like Prince You but also dutiful like Wu Feng. He is kind-hearted and doesn't like killing, but he knew as a Prince, he has a duty to help revived to Yue Kingdom. So, he fought and killed and only after the Yue Kingdom was restored did he asked to be relieved of his Prince position. We see little of him, but he really did grow throughout the series. From a naive prince to a person with his own mind. From a person who hates all Wu people to a person who realised both sides also have good people.

Anyone knows who played Lu Ying?
