LOL coz there are other competitions... but this isnt the only famous one unlike australia...theres only one........ but in china, there is quite a few that is famous, but super girls is the most famous of all.

i think there was one before, back in2004 i think. i was watching wo she chong guo xing( i am a chinese idol) it is for both girls and boys but i think supergirls has abetter system and you'll go far when you enter supergirls but in the opther competion, u r also finish once the competition is finished....

they said they might change to super boys next year but super girls will always be the best... and super boys wont get very famous

oh no! i hope they wont do that! it will be awful...or if not,at least they will still have supergirls, like supergirls for girls and superboys for boys

Yeah, definitely Super Girls better cos gives contestants a better chance.. Whr contestants that are popular can be save by votes. Contestants that sing well, if not popular can be save by the judges. I like compromising. At least u dun get all popular ones but can't sing, or all who can sing but zero personality...

dont u reckon that if they replaced super girls with super boys, more people would like super girls? coz u can tell by all the other shows with boys in it like hao nan er and other idols but they arnt as famous as super girls

yeah. Sort of agree. Cos American idol selects people who can sing whereas Super Girls, more like the complete package they are looking for. But then American Idol is a big disadvantage to people to can sing very well, but zero personality..

i dunno but for me, in american idol, only the top 5 are usualy good...the bottom half are usualy just so so in singing...well, that my opinion only

yeah.. it's owes like dat.. the bottom few are usually quite lousy..

But not in super girls thats what i like.... like u can see in top 10 - even though i reckon reborn wasnt that good, they had the stage performance, and they could dance and sing (like ai meng meng) so thats whats good... and the others too! what about ya fei, lor dan, gong ke, zhu ya chong, and more... most of them didnt even reach top 20 :P but thats the good thing about super girls. they compete at each city, then they come together so compete again, and thats why most of them are so good, even in the the top 10 of guang zhou.
