Favourite Taiwanese Actress

In my opinion, I do agree that Taiwan has a lot of 'act cute' actresses and especially, ah, singers. Ahem like Twins...and oh yeah, the 'incomparable' Cyndi Wang!!! However, there are of course more matured celebrities in Taiwan as well. I seldom see Alyssa acting like a act cute fool or else I wouldn't have respect for her. I simply dislike Cyndi Wang for her fake 'cuteness' which actually make my hair stand on ends everytime I see her MTVs and I nearly vomitted when those hosts say how cute she looks in her MTVs. Cute??? Or I would say Xu Chun Mei is cute. To me, celebrities who act like Cyndi are not cute, just immatured girls which Taiwan finds appealing. Anyone agrees with me on this point?

Sometimes, I do compare Hollywood celebrities to big stars in Asia. And I deduced that though in looks, Asian celeberities are indeed more appealing, but in terms of singing, acting and hot bodies, Hollywood still wins hands down. Of course, I guess Hollywood don't deem 'tehing' as singing and 'cutie-pie' expressions as acting.

OT but I don't really think the Twins sing very well, no offense to any fans. I think it's partially the Taiwan's drama industry's fault why these actresses get credit for acting cute. The only actresses here most people would consider 'serious' have done work outside of Taiwan.

Ady An (安以轩)-saw her act a bit in this Fox Volant clip...it was pretty good
Alyssa Chia (贾静雯)-saw her act a bit in a HSDS clip....she could pull off HR too!
Chen Qiao En (陈乔恩)-never seen her act
Ruby Lin (林心如)-don't like her.....
Ariel Lin (林依晨)-
Barbie Hsu - Big S (徐熙媛)-she's okay/good....saw ep1 of meteor garden
Vivian Hsu (徐若瑄)-never seen her act
Rainie Yang (杨丞琳)-saw her in a clip of Devil Beside You...she's okay/pretty good...but she's a very good singer live (in comparison to other singers live)!
