personally, I would love to see Brokeback Mountain win... but that's just me.
Brokeback Mountain
Capote
Crash
Good Night, and Good Luck
Munich

I chose "Good Night, and Good Luck" because that's the only one of the bunch I saw.Originally Posted by moonlight-sonata
Apparently, Brokeback Mountain is tipped to win Best Picture but Capote is to win Best Actor.

n if ya want to win some kind of award from american movie.......then find a leading role in a movie tat u think won't make lots of money.....then u have a shot of winning the wonder Oscar o the other crap that's out there.........

I think by this point, Brokeback is pretty much a lock
excuse you, i would just like to point out that Hollywood is a lot more well-known than any other movie-making place - even more than China's little attempt to follow America in the film industry.Originally Posted by SkyKing
and Oscars is not 'crap'. if you think that, then you are seriously deluded. Anyone who's gotten an Oscar in the past earns big bucks. Who cares about the little Chinese awards? No one gives them a mention. If it's an Oscar, then you're on; if not, you're gone.

where do u live? if u say USA...then end of chattin......Originally Posted by moonlight-sonata

I would concur with BBM as best picture if I haven't seen it but now that I've seen it, I think it's pretty mediocre. Then again I haven't seen the other ones so it's kind of hard to compare.
I can't vote.. as I haven't watched any of them.. But.. if you really want me to vote, it'll be Brokeback Mountain. Chinese support Chinese XD

I'll bite you
I live in Australia... and no, we do not follow USA around like a lap dog!!! But that's not the point...Originally Posted by SkyKing

Phillip Seymore Hoffman... That was his name! I remember now.
He got the Golden Globe... and maybe the Bafta? Can't remember.
Jake Gyllenhaal got Best Supporting Actor at the Baftas!!! YAY!

Munich. Only movie i saw out of the group.
Philip Seymour Hoffman won a SAG award this year too. I watched Capote and found it quite boring. Hoffman did a great job as Capote, but it just wasn't my kind of movie.Originally Posted by moonlight-sonata
I've also seen Brokeback Mountain, Crash, and Good Night, and Good Luck. My top two favorites are Brokeback Mountain and Crash so I wouldn't mind seeing either of those win. My plan is to watch Munich before the Oscars this Sunday.

Crap, I haven't seen any of them. Reading the reviews bores the hell out of me. I'll pass.

Feel kinda robbed......but then again....all the movies nominated this year are great films. Guess they can't left Brokeback take everything.
