Ding Chun Qiu VS Huang Rong

I suddenly had this thought after posting in another topic. i thought this would be an interesting fight. In terms of martial art, ding has xiao yao and poison skills while hr has jiu yin and dog beating stick? what do you think the end result will be?

Combat-skill wise, HR may have difficulty against Ding Chun Qiu's Xiao Yao skills (then again what he knew were only the lower tier Xiao Yao skills so HR's knowledge of 9Yin might give her a chance) but i'm banking on her unmatched wits to outsmart him.

In terms of martial arts, if we say DCQ is 1/3 great, HR can almost match that.

HR was pretty well versed in poisons and she had the armour, so if DCQ hits her, he injures himself and she kills him with a strike of dog beating skill.

ding is the poison king in tian long ba bu, also an ex-xiao yao member.

i am not sure if 1 strike of dog beating stick can kill ding. ding is quite intelligent as well.

Not sure if it will be a battle of wits, but in terms of fighting ability, it seems that ding has an upper hand.... but i still feel that her 9 yin and dog beating stick will give her some advantage. i like to say a 50/50

I have to say DCQ, if for no other reason than the fact that I don't see how it's possible for HR to deal with something like Fu Shi Du.

i dont think dcq can match HR with DBS.

Hard to know with this one, but I think HR would win. DBS will defeat anything DCQ can come up with, and as for poison, well she is smart enough to avoid most of it and she has Dew Pills for the minor ones, that is if DCQ has minor poisons on him.

I think Huang Rong would had problem dealing with any of Su Xinghe's disciple, let alone pitting herself against Ding Chunqiu.

Ding Chunqiu's intelligence shouldn't be lower than Huang Rong. One of Xiaoyao Sect's rule in accepting disciples is that they must be talented, intelligent and good-looking.

If we look at Wuyazi's disciples, Both Su Xinghe and Ding Chunqiu are intelligent people, the only exception being Xuzhu.

There's intelligent, and then there's Wong Yung-intelligent. Ding Chun Chou was no idiot, but nothing said or shown about him in DGSD suggests that he's anywhere *near* a Wong Yung-level intelligence.

That said, I don't think Wong Yung's Dog Beating Stick Technique skills will avail her much against Ding Chun Chou, unless Ding breaks with character and attempts to fight her directly rather than use poison. The Dog Beating Stick Technique is great about deflecting the blows of enemy limbs/weapons, but really can't do much about poison attacks.

Then again, Wong Yung has a predilection for turning poisons back against their wielders: just ask Yeung Hong and Lee Mok Sau.

If it was an expected fight, maybe HR has a chance. But if it was an ambush or free for all situation, HR might not even know she got hit by the San Xiao Du until she starts grinning.

If Ding has the antidote, getting the poison shot back at him will be of no use. I don't see how HR can get out of the Fu Shi Du attack as well. Her lightness skill was not _that_ good.
