thank u for the pics i can see how much liushishi's character love yuan hong's but yuan hong seems to be keeping his distance. is that suppose to be his character's feelings towards her or is it something else?

I believe so....the princess followed him into battle, but I think (in the pictures) he still think and only love Qiao Er. In those pictures, he looked so annoyed lol...

He does remind me of the "Young Warriors" war scene, looks tragic...

I wonder if the war plays a big role in the serie, because it's supposed to be about the six women and their emotional trauma going through the rough life that each one had to endure.....hmmm..

Anybody have a chance to look at the video from the link above? Do you think Hu Ge and Liu Shi Shi have potential as an onscreen couple...do they have enough chemistry? I am surprised that they haven't been a couple yet, despite being in the same management company.

Haha yeah...his YK was what I was looking forward to the most in LOCH because the previous YK (2003, Zhou Jie) was...let's say, 'underwhelming'. So while I was waiting for LOCH to come out, I occupied myself with watching everything else with YH in it.

Oh! Forgot to mention....Hu Ge's MV "Qu Ai Ba" also featured them as a couple.

I think Yang Kang of 2008 was the hottest!!!!! My goodness, I still did not understand how they chose Zhou Jie to be Yang Kang(no offense to his fans). LOCH 2008 was the serie that got me interested and liked Yuan Hong and Shishi(actually Yuan Hong).....hehehe, before LOCH 2008 I didn't even know who these two were. I only heard of Hu Ge, but have never seen his serie either.

That's funny...I liked Yuan Hong and LSS before watching LOCH 2008, and actually really disliked both their characters in that series. Nothing against the actors themselves--I thought they did great with what they were given--but the script and plot for their characters made them extremely unlikeable to me. I still like YH and LSS in spite of that though, and looking forward to their story in this new one.

For HG and LSS...I think CP3 sort of "ruined" for me them as a romantic couple--they had some borderline "romantic" scenes in there, which always felt really awkward as they were supposed to be brother/sister, and Long Kui's extreme devotion to her brother was a bit discomfiting sometimes. So now I feel like they definitely work best as friends/siblings (but maybe I'll change my mind if they do end up in a series together as a couple).

I know exactly what you mean...the image of them being a sister/brother from CP3 will never leave our minds... The first exposure for me of CP3 was a music video of Long Yang and Long Kui, not knowing about the serie, it's only natural that I thought they were a couple...hehhee...the scenes seems more of lovers than a brother/sister....later I found out the relationship after looking up the serie.....and I was like "huh?" sister?...

Did you know that during an interview for "Fantasy Zhu Xian", Hu Ge said that it's like "incest", because they were sister/brother, now lovers . Shishi also admitted that while filming for "Fantasy Zhu Xian" and they had to get intimate, both of them were uncomfortable. The directors had to keep telling them to put more emotions into it...LOL. And when they did....everybody was suprised

LSS is looking so stylish and lovely these days. She's very slim but not to the point of anorexic looking. I love how she just glows in every picture or maybe it's b/c she's got such radiant skin. Can't wait to see her in more meaty roles....and good for her to taking on the role of the spunky Princess in her new series. I really want to see her act with more range.

as for HG and LSS, yeah, i really dont see them being a couple, but maybe thats just because theyve never really played a couple before. in all the other series, they had mostly brother/sister type roles (young warriors, CP3, even in LOCH) so i think it'd be kind of weird to see them together.
in CP3 though, i thought they were going to be lovers too! i thought it was going to be like a CP1 situation where both girls like HG. the relationship b/w then was a little um, too close though lol

hehe...agreed although he had this type of manly attraction about him in young warriors too, whereas i feel like in LOCH he looked so much younger and naive...
OMG i totally agree with the zhou jie thing. when i first saw it, i was like, isnt YK supposed to be really handsome?? what happened?? lol. i really liked jiang qin qin's nian ci though, too bad they werent compatible at all...

hehe, i like how that magazine article said that HG was so handsome he doesnt look like a real person. i mean, i already thought he was hot on TV, so he must be so much hotter in person! haha
