wow......so lemme get this straigt.......Qiao Zhen Yu could have been the lead according to the novel until it was changed to Nic's character to be the main lead?......i find that interesting.....I wonder if that's a good or bad thing for this newcomer.......i wonder if he feel's honored to have taken a role that leslie cheung once played?

and on the side note, I agree with the criticisms on the whole costume thing......why can't they just stick to the simple costumes like back in the 90's, modern-like costumes like these make the film lose the ancient feel......hahaah whoever said that taking pieces of junk and putting it together was the trend these days was funny.....cause I start to notice that too......

however I find nic's costume and hair acceptable.....not in the pictures though, but in the video clip, it blends into the movie plus not to mention he looks more manly instead of the prince-like look in his other series

sorry, but gillian just does not look good.....she looks better when her bangs are pulled back or pushed to one side, not split in half......same for yang rui with the fringe.....i couldn't even recognize her......and yeah the look made her lose the cuteness that I saw in her other films when she had no bangs

sorry but QZY does not look good either with the noodle like bangs....makes him look gay.......he looked best in seven swords......or just simple straight hair......honestly ppl I cannot understand why you can call these costume fashionable.......this was in ancient times, swordsmen are suppose to look simple, and I don't think they invented the curling iron yet......i think scissors were used to sew fabric not cut hair either........

This serie is released at yesasia but on pre-order only! Hope that they won't push the release date at many times as with the serie " Big Shot"!

I don't really like Gil's hair. I mean some of them are ok, but there's some that just bugs me. Her oufits are ok.

Nic's hair kinda bugs me too but, not as much. I prefer is hair in Da Ren Wu. It was so much better. I love his gray and white outfit. It looks so cool!

I hope someone can upload the video when this drama starts airing. Can't wait.

Already saw Episode 1, it's pretty good. The cast met up pretty quick. Gillian looks bad in photos but she's not quite photogenic because she looks really pretty onscreen even with that ugly pink dress and flowery hat.

Could someone explain to me why Nicholas' master asked him to collect the 9 swords? I mean, sure the sowrds are great but it's not like they would unleash some hidden power when combined or have some hidden map inside each sword that would lead to a great treasure (can you tell I watch waaaay too many wuxia series?) It's just sad that Nicholas is kinda following the same path as his deceased father.

Also, it looks like Qiao Zhen and Yang Rui are going to be a couple in this series but that's kinda scandalous because they're fraternal cousins, right? I know cousins can be married in ancient China but children of brothers are often thought of as siblings because they have the same last name. That is why in Tian Long Ba Bu, Duan Yu's mom told Duan Yu that even though in China it is taboo for him to be with his girl cousins, in Dali they don't care about such things and hence he would marry all the girls that his uncle sired.
