Your attempts at humour are getting increasingly pitiful.
Yearning, you need to publicize everything more - make banners, put the thread in your signature, send endless PMs to everyone to vote...that is how you get results
I'll vote for Australia to make up for Net's lie, since I wasn't intending to vote anyway.

Lol I like my signature the way it is though =P Lots of people from NA I see....
Other Asian Country, I voted.
Is it just me or is it weird that no one from HK, Taiwan, or China has voted yet? Maybe because of the language barrier.
Btw, is English one of the official languages of Singapore? Does everyone speak it very well?
There are quite a number of posters here from HK, TW and China. But your question was 'Where are you *currently* living?' so these people sort of crossed over to the other poll options, such as America, etc.
It very much depends on your definition of "well".Btw, is English one of the official languages of Singapore? Does everyone speak it very well?
While it is one of S'pore's official languages, and is used most often here among the other recognised languages, if you're looking for grammatical-English speakers, then I'll have to say it's in the minority. By minority, I do not mean it's extremely rare, but it's really hard to encounter these people among the many others. Typically, when it comes to speaking, people here use rather simple English, so don't expect much from them. In addition, if you're an anti-Singlish person, then the word "well" definitely doesn't apply to Singaporeans and their English-speaking capabilities.
So, in all, no. Not everyone here speaks good English.
