    Default Thread refresh issue today.

I've had an issue today with refreshing threads on the forum.

Normally, after I've clicked on an unread thread with new updates, the "unread" icon disappears and is replaced with a "read" icon the next time I refresh the forum page. Today, the forum isn't doing that. A "read" thread remains "unread" no matter how many times I click into it.

    What's going on?

I've had no issues with that. Maybe the problem is on your end?

Okay, now I'm starting to get this message:

This forum requires that you wait 60 seconds between searches. Please try again in 17 seconds.

    That never happened before.

that's coz you never tried post-whoring before

that's happened to me 100 times during survivor games
you would think that i'd learn my lesson, but i still end up clicking to early, and i notice that if you post the same message, it doesn't let you through.

NO, I know the 60 second posting rule. But this is for searching. I've never gotten that message for just doing a search or clicking on 'new posts' before.

And have you forgotten me from those games? I was the one that supposedly spilled soda on myself and almost ate my mouse thinking it was my popcorn.

I implemented the 60 seconds wait time for search today. The search queries are showing up as some of the most server intensive queries so I'm capping it a bit. Maybe I'll lower it to 30 seconds if I hear too many complaints...

Yeah, it gets kind of annoying too. We already have to deal with the 60 second posting rule. Now we have to wait 60 seconds before we can refresh our page.

I find it slightly annoying too. I mean, obviously you have other things to consider, but sometimes if I mistype something and I end up with no results, before I search again I have to wait another minute!

Due to several complaints, I will stop using the terms "Babe" and "Baby" in reference to our female counterpart. They will now be replaced with "B*tch."
