High Machs constitute a distinct type: charming, confident and glib, but also arrogant, calculating and cynical, prone to manipulate and exploit. (Think Rupert Murdoch, or if your politics permit it, President Clinton.)

However, I kind of disagreed with this type of Personality Tests. A better test is the Myer-Briggs Type Indicator[Its done by scientific research, very dependable]; kinda determine your life career path. This is more accurate about yourself, I had taken this like 2-3 years ago and just took this yesterday; still comes out close to the same thing, like the last time I took it.
Does anyone had taken this test yet?

Can you provide a link? And how long does the test take. Kinda get bored when its more than 30qs.

I'm a high Mach with 65.
Haha, so I am less evil than all but 2 of you so far. I guess I may be seeing many of you in Hell. You evil doers
So I guess we don't have any doormats so far. A score of 60 and above qualifies you as a Machiavellian person... I think the threshold is too low.

personally, i disagree with my results. I don't think they should be that high. I was predicting around 70.
i'm sure the Myer-Briggs Type Indicator test was posted on spcnet a while back.
EDIT: Found it, originally posted by sparky.
This is the one where Bebe and i were total clones of each other.

No shock. I mostly chose 3. *sigh*
I hate #20.
I am at my school working on homework (this Fall semester is gonna kill me), so while bored I took the 70 question test. Actually I own a short workbook from my psychology major days that has similar (but much shorter) questions that determine those 4 dimensions.
A lot of those questions I would have answered "sometimes" instead of an absolute yes or no though, and I don't think my result is truly me.
I think my aforementioned book's result was more accurate, but I can't recall what I scored.

Guardians of birthdays, holidays and celebrations, ESFJs are generous entertainers. They enjoy and joyfully observe traditions and are liberal in giving, especially where custom prescribes.
All else being equal, ESFJs enjoy being in charge. They see problems clearly and delegate easily, work hard and play with zest. ESFJs, as do most SJs, bear strong allegiance to rights of seniority. They willingly provide service (which embodies life's meaning) and expect the same from others.
ESFJs are easily wounded. And when wounded, their emotions will not be contained. They by nature "wear their hearts on their sleeves," often exuding warmth and bonhomie, but not infrequently boiling over with the vexation of their souls. Some ESFJs channel these vibrant emotions into moving dramatic performances on stage and screen.
Strong, contradictory forces consume the ESFJ. Their sense of right and wrong wrestles with an overwhelming rescuing, 'mothering' drive. This sometimes results in swift, immediate action taken upon a transgressor, followed by stern reprimand; ultimately, however, the prodigal is wrested from the gallows of their folly, just as the noose tightens and all hope is lost, by the very executioner!
An ESFJ at odds with self is a remarkable sight. When a decision must be made, especially one involving the risk of conflict (abhorrent to ESFJs), there ensues an in-house wrestling match between the aforementioned black-and-white Values and the Nemesis of Discord. The contender pits self against self, once firmly deciding with the Right, then switching to Prudence to forestall hostilities, countered by unswerving Values, ad exhaustium, winner take all.
As caretakers, ESFJs sense danger all around--germs within, the elements without, unscrupulous malefactors, insidious character flaws. The world is a dangerous place, not to be trusted. Not that the ESFJ is paranoid; 'hyper-vigilant' would be more precise. And thus they serve excellently as protectors, outstanding in fields such as medical care and elementary education.

More fun with tests. Kind of surprised since I agree with alot of Machiavelli's writings. Read 'The Prince', then read it again.
I found this question interesting:
11) Most people who get ahead in the world lead clean, moral lives.
It all depends on your definition of "getting ahead" and what you consider "moral". I've always valued friends and family above money and power.

Although, there are similar Myer's Brigg Test.
Here is my: ISTJ[Introverted, Sensing, Thinking, Judging]
You are: Serious, Quiet, earn succes by concentration and thoroughness. Practical, orderly, matter-of-fact, logical, realistic, and dependable. See to it that everything is well-organized. Take responsibility. Make up their own minds as to what should be accomplished and work toward it steadily, regardless of protests or distractions.
After reading this, I had shown some these common traits on Spcnet. Somethings people in here comments about me: Serious, concentrated, Logical, realistic, and pratical.

Here is the ESFJ: Warm-hearted, talkative, popular, conscientious, born cooperators, active committee members. Need harmony and may be good at creating it. Always doing something nice for someone. Work best with encouragement and praise. Little interst in abstract thinking or technical subjects. Main interest is in things that directly and visibly affect people's lives.

The validity of these types of tests are questionable. I do them for fun, but don't take them seriously.
We did a Myer-Briggs test at work recently, and I asked everyone to pass their results to someone else before reading them and to read them as if they were their own. Everyone agreed that the results they read (not their own) did apply to them. I had learned this back in high school.
Back in the day, one of my high school teachers asked everyone for our dates and locations of birth, so an astrologer could do our personal horoscopes. When we got the results, she asked how many thought they were right on, how many were close, and how many were way off. About 80% of the class thought they were right on, almost everyone else was close, and only two said they were way off. She then asked everyone to pass their results to the left. They were all identical. We later found that this experiment had been done to prove the Forer Effect.
Wiki it and check out the external links. Very interesting, but also up for debate.

If you need to prove it, take the Myer-Briggs, or any other personality test, and answer the complete opposite of what you would normally. Most of the time you'll get a result you can relate to.

Meyer's is just one of the examples, there are many other kinds; not sure which one's are they. Some are accurate and are on the dot. Hey, you are the one's to determine that.
