pat/clare- thanks again for posting the TXFMX updates. Yes- it does seem it will end really soon. I'm not a soap opera fan, but at least I am glad it is getting good ratings which means it is popular with the general public.

xiaolong-I agree- maybe if I grew up there, I would appreciate it more? Sort of like how some of the humour in Hong Kong movies/series may not translate well to Western audiences.

Anyways- I am just glad that Xiezhi has been taking on more acting roles and that we can see him regularly on Super King, even though most of the time I only watch that show because of him and Renfu. Hope that it will be better with the new segment that they will be filming outside.

Ep 300 is a must watch episode. I re-watch it a lot of times already.

And Caixuan finally see CYD's true colours. At first, i'm very happy to see Caixuan like this. But after that, i feel sorry for her.

Hehe- thanks pat/clare for posting the TXFMX updates here. The production crew is having their 'sha qing' dinner on the 9th so looks like the last episode should be episode 310? Too bad there isn't too much of Xiezhi in the last few episodes but I must say that besides Xiezhi, the older actors, particularly the one that plays CYD's father is really good.

Even though the storyline was mediocre, I still liked being able to look forward to seeing Xiezhi's scenes everyday. Kind of sad that it is over. But hopefully he will take up another series soon. After a good rest of course!

BTW, I thought last week's episode of Super King was livelier without Jacky Wu being at the second part of the show since Xiezhi and Renfu took over. Looks like the ratings increased too, from 0.87 to 1.11. Not sure if it was SHINee, but maybe it could have been the format of the show. The Andy Lau episode only got a 0.98 rating, even though I thought it was entertaining. I think it is much better to have Xiezhi and Renfu take over that 'Super-live'segment of the show since they are great hosts and never really had a chance to showcase their talents until the most recent episode. When they are with Jacky, Xiezhi and Renfu always have to act as juniors and not say too much. While I do think that Jacky is funny, I also think that he underutilizes Xiezhi and Renfu. Wang Dehui of course is just comic relief and Jiro is eye candy.

Ah- well this is surprising (but good) news- Xiezhi is now the leader of the new Jungiery group 7Km. Congratulations to him!

Oh and if anyone likes fantasy novels, Xiezhi recommended the book Genesis of Shannara-Armageddon's Children on his blog. I like fantasy novels myself and it is quite good.

Just read a news report from baidu that both xiezhi and renfu have decided to stop hosting Superking as they are busy with other stuff. Xiezhi has also dropped out of 7km and Jstar is now looking for a 7th member to replace him. I always thought that he will not be an active member in 7km but was just using his name and fame to get the new group noticed. So I was surprised that they need to recruit a new member for the group.

Anyway, I hope his decision to drop out of both Superking and 7km means that he has other new plans for himself.

My first reaction about Superking was ... will xiezhi go on Harlem's BWDGX again. I really enjoy watching him on BWDGX and hope they invite him again especially if there is a special LNY episode.

Superking is really uninteresting and I won't watch it if not for xiezhi. I agree with bonnec1 that both xiezhi and renfu cannot showcase their talents on this show because Jacky Wu is the main host and he controls what the other hosts can do on the show. I too enjoyed that episode without Jacky as both xiezhi and renfu behaved more naturally without Jacky.

I like xiezhi's appearance and the character he played on TXFMX. Though I don't like these superlong taiyu shows, but such dramas give me a chance to see xiezhi display varied emotions which I won't see in him in real life. I especially like his fierce intense looks during his fight scenes and his poses are equal to any real martial arts exponents.

Wonder if becoming a regular 8pm taiyu actor is one of his career plans.

Anyways, yeah- even though I only watch Super King for Xiezhi and Renfu, I am still disappointed that they will stop hosting the show since at least we could see them regularly each week. Anyway, I am very happy for him if the romance is true and I hope everything goes well for him.

Well, should be true, since TXFMX has ended already, so can't be a promotion stint. Plus they've got minimum contact in their scenes.

The pairing was very unexpected, I have to say. I thought they were referring to Caixuan initially. I sort of went Huh?? when I realized it was Lei lei.

And I really mean good luck after watching last week's Kangxi. Nothing bad said but the jokes & references were... erm interesting (but funny), plus it keeps people aware of him. I'll like to wish her good luck too.

The older artist are also starting to appear on scene again. I think it's a sign that the people are starting to get really sick of those teeny pop idols that just look cute & have absolutely no talent, as well as those B-class artist that have neither looks nor sufficient talent. Strangely, since the last 2 years, the ex-idols became really popular, even in the european/american scene.

Especially the bands, spice gals, take that, backstreet boys?, the next thing you know, xiao hu dui might actually return with an album / concert.

Was going through and editing my previous entrys & found this comment I made last year. And hey XHD made their appearance at the beginning of this year and were quite hot in China! ;D. ... Should I try to make a prediction with 5566 & see if it comes true.
