Hey if ZWJ didn't have his heart "divided" for other chicks, Zhao Min wouldn't like him that much and sacrifice so much for him. She probably would get bored of him quickly if he was dedicated to her from the start.

Zhang Wuji - seriously I never get why some people don't like this awesome guy. His only flaw is that he should've banged all of those chicks.

I wonder why so many people focus on his love life. To me, that's the least interesting aspect of a wuxia hero's life. Cheung Mo Gei did all this other cool stuff outside his relationships with women, but hardly anybody ever discusses that at length. It's always Chiu Mun this, Chow Chi Yerk that, Siu Chiu something, and Chu-yee something else.

One word, drama! People like drama. But seriously, three-quarter of the story pretty much focuses on relationships, beginning with ZWJ's parents.

As for my favorite characters (ZM aside), I'd have to say ZBT and the Condor (he counts, doesn't he?).

Don't know what you read, but the novel is about ZWJ failing to score with all 4 babes. He just managed to get one at the end. As I read it, I kept thinking, if I were in his shoes...

But then, if you only watched TVB crap then I understand why you'd say that. The TVB actresses that played ZWJ's chicks in a few adaptations that I've glanced at were very ordinary.
