General Discussion Forum

Ok, so today I was looking at the Lounge section of Spcnet, and noticed that the forums in there are very specific. Open Debates, Anime/Games, Academia, etc. There aren't any room for topics that don't fit in those categories. The name of the section is Lounge so shouldn't the forums there be more general?

I suggest that a General Discussion Forum should be created as a place for members to socialize and talk about topics that just don't fit anywhere else. And there were many times when I didn't know where to put a thread.

And most importantly, it is a Lounge after all.

There used to be a General Forum and even a Relationships forum.
But people didn't follow the rules and things often got out of hand, so it was closed. I don't know if spcnet would bring it back.

If one want to discuss something OT and no related sub-forum exist, one can create the social-group and engage discussion there till one heart contend.

Then I'll have to make many social groups because I discuss a variety of different things...

I'm trying to make a request to see if there are any veterinarians out there or vet students who are (is) willing to open a thread to answer questions which pet owners have (sort of like han/yittz's clinic)? that would be really nice and much appreciated.

Just open a thread in the Academia forum, and hope for some answers.
