Bah.... how did that happen? Well, _perhaps_ it looks better in action- though I find it hard to imagine.

But generally, ZJZ's series usually take longer than normal to release. Even BXJ, which was slightly more than 30 episodes and took only 3 months or so to film was only released after quite a long wait.

I know ZJZ or whoevever likes to release a preview clip (which is usually quite long) for the audience in the midst of editing.

Also hope for good and original music for this series. The last few series, starting from ROCH all had pretty lousy music, which was disappointing, considering how good the music was for LOCH, TLBB and even XAJH.

Fingers crossed this doesn't get any editing complications- one can only hope that they've learnt from their past experiences!

Preview clip during editing sounds good! And definitely some of the music is more sub-par than others.

I think some of the latest CCTV wuxia serials have great songs- I'm thinking Xian Jian 1 (Chinese Paladine) and Tian Xia Di Yi (World's Finest) in particular... I wonder if whoever writes music for those serials might also be writing songs for ZJZ?

Yeah, the article mentioned that Ady was in pain as she was being hung in mid-air for a long time while they filmed this scene. The pose looks very idiotic to me though; I really hope Yu Min doesn't try to be funny once again and mess up some of the classic scenes with his silly artistic directions.

Thanks for the new updates on YLWH's blog. Seems like ZM's injured in the first pic; i wonder whether they've filmed the wedding scene yet. Though I recall ZM being injured another time by one of the Wudang heroes after she tries to save ZWJ from being maligned for the 7th hero's death (culprit was actually Song Qingshu).

If ZM was injured from the wedding scene, her arm would be bleeding, but from the pix, I don't see any blood or injured-like. If she was injured from the Wudang people, in the 1986 version, ZM got hit at the leg/ankle/foot. I can't remember what happened in the 2000 & 2003 versions though.

Yeah, apparently he's deleted every pic or post relating to Deng Chao so there are speculations that either he's had some falling out with the latter or that DC or his manager doesn't want any pics of DC to be released online.

I seriously hope its not because the producers/directors have asked him to stop posting pics online because he's a major source for news and pics. And with Lao Ren (another major source for pics and filming updates) already out of the picture, we might not have those frequent juicy updates anymore

I wonder why they (crew and media) are so secretive and low-profile regarding news and pics of filming this time round. There isn't even an official site (usually by Sina, Tom and other major entertainment sites) set up for this series. Most news and info are either provided by crew members or the cast themselves via their individual blogs.

The setting/prop for Fire Ice island is really fake looking . The setting at Shaolin temple for XX's rescue doesn't look grand either. But the battle scene is fantastic

Thanks for the updates Tiff! My gosh, isn't the Yellow Robe Lady Liu Shishi? She looks beautiful! ZZR looks pretty good in those pics as well. But Liu Shishi is prettier and more youthful-looking imo.

Guo Xiang appeared in the earlier bits of HSDS, together with young Zhang Sanfeng who was still a Shaolin disciple then and named Zhang Junbao.

Guo Xiang was mentioned quite a couple of times in the 2003 version. Miejue, ZZR and the E'mei students mentioned her quite abit (she is afterall, the founder of the sect) and i remember Yin Tianzheng (ZWJ's grandfather) talking about her in the scene where ZZR was fighting with Song Yuanqiao at the Shaolin meet.

I'm quite sure the YRL is Liu Shishi. All the better anyway; she has that ethereal, fairy-like presence and looks very pretty. I suspect LSS was cast because she resembles Liu Yifei who played XLN in ROCH'06 and YRL is afterall, a descendant of XLN. I like LSS's hairstyle in here- simple but very pretty. Why they can't do the same thing for ZM instead of some dowdy-looking plait for her? I've seen several period series with Ady in it and she actually looks best with her hair let down at the back.

ZZR looks pretty good and into character in the 2nd pic. Seeing that she has her hair let down entirely, I think they're really going to film her in Mei Chaofeng style, which is not exactly a bad thing considering how successful LOCH 03's MCF was.

Thanks for the clip. What i meant was that i dont think ZM was hurt in the leg in the novel. I can't remember whether it was the chest or what. But at least the 1986 version bothered to film this scene. The 2000 and 2003 didn't film or cut it out from the released product.

Bigger pics of YRL and ZZR. If u look carefully, you'll notice the similarities of the YRL's costume and that of XLN's in ROCH'06. Its as if they dyed XLN's costume yellow! And the scene where she appears, with sash flying in the air and all- is very similar to how XLN first appears in ROCH'06.
