Schools with beauty requirements

All students of the secret CareFree school in DGSD had to be beautiful. How on earth do you pick students when they are young. Beautiful kids dont always become beatiful adults. Do the schools pick them when they are in their teens? Doesnt sound likely. I know that this isnt the only requirement, but it must be important since WZT to hesitate to take on ZX as a student.

And I dont know if it is a requirement for the Tomb sect, but all their students were beauties! Even YG!

There's an 'ideal' shape for each of those components, from the cheeks to the chin to the mouth, and these things generally don't change too much.

Im pretty sure there is no beauty requirement for Tomb sect. It is a bit strange that almost everyone connected to Tomb sect are pretty. LCY, XLN, LMC, LMC's student and YG. Fate? Luck?

As I said, nobody wants to read a story full of plain or ugly people. Part of the reasons why we read such novels is to escape from the real world (same reason why we watch TV and movies). Besides, humans have a natural love for beauty so of course we are going to expect the fantasy or 'perfect' world to be filled with beautiful people.

That is the reason why 90% or so of the female characters are either beautiful, cute, sexy, lovely, attractive, or ect... I rarely see any ugly female character. I doubt the rate of beauty in ancient china is that high.
