Thanks for the update myedi! SFF seems rather plain and average-looking in the first pic with Mickey He but she looks really gorgeous and fitting of a queen in her other outfit:

Myolie is a Lost Princess (Neice of the GrandEmpress) whose mother was exiled from the palace, and she ended up working in the local fish market **This sounds SOOOOOOOO Cheezy**

She will assist Ruby in one of her schemes as the hand 'outside' the palace. I would assume Myolie is subsequently reunited with her brother and all her titles reclaimed. She is then married to LiuZhang (Grandson of GrandEmpress born to another consort).

(This is from the novel ... but YZ said he might give Myolie a happy ending) ..

When the LiuClan uprises against the LuClan, LiuZhang in order to announce his fall out from the Lu Clan, Kills Myolie. It is noted that Myolie and LiuZhang were in love, but nonetheless he killed her by his own hands. (Their relationship and her death, this is briefly mentioned in the novel in one line, but their love story will be elaborated much more in the series)
History remembers LiuZhang as the hero who hunted down and slaughtered the LuClan.

In fact Sammul was also pressured to Kill Ruby before the uprising, as Ruby was a gift to him from Empress Dowager Lu, and thus her death would also mark his distancing from all associations with the LuClan. But Sammul didn't kill Ruby. When asked if he would rather have the kingdom or Ruby, he chose Ruby. Unfortunately Myolie wasn't so lucky to have loved a man that would risk all for her. However you can't class LiuZhang as a ruthless person, it was simply ruthless times, and when faced with the same choice as Sammul, he chose to give up Myolie instead.

Whether Myolie dies by her husband's hand or not, they would both be out of the picture when Sammul & Ruby ascend to the throne. Her filming time is about 1 month

Ruby's Role is DouYiFang, who lived through 4 generations of emperors,
Gen1 - Emperor GaoZhu (Father in law)
Gen2 - Emperor LiuYing (lover), Emperor LiuHeng (Husband)
Gen3 - Emperor LiuQi (Son)
Gen4 - Emperor LiuChe (Grandson)
The whole list of cast, most won't appear throughout the series, just their designated generation/period~

(N.B. according to the novel, DouYiFang and LiuYing were lovers before she met LiuHeng, but I'm not sure whether this might be omitted from the series, since LiuYing hasn't started filming yet)

No.
Frankie will appear in about the 3rd generation. He is a General, his wife WangZhi left him, and subsequently married Ruby's Son, LiuQi.

Hawick's role was Liu heng's brother. Who doesn't really like Ruby very much and often have conflicts with her.

Hawick's role was LiuZhang now played by Feng Shao Feng
He is LiuHeng's Nephew not brother. It's not that he didn't like Ruby, he knew he had to get rid of her, because she knew too much and was the mastermind behind LiuHeng. He plotted to assasinate Ruby, but she escaped. Ultimately it was Ruby's hand that won LiuHeng the throne, and LiuZhang and his brother subsequently retreated back to their lands. Which would mark the end of their role

Really?! That's awesome! I haven't actually played or read Zhu Xian but I know a bit about it, and I kept thinking how perfect it would be if Yang Mi was Bi Yao. It would be even better if Tang Yan (Zi Xuan from CP3) was cast as LXQ (she played that role in the MVs for Richie Ren's songs and looked gorgeous; didn't like the other 2 actors much). And perfect if Hu Ge got cast as ZXF...(I just can't seem to get enough of YM/HG together. )

Sorry, got sidetracked there! Back on topic, the costumes look amazing for this series. I'm not really a big Ruby fan but I'll watch for the plot and other actors.
