I love TY ever since CP3 but thats about it. Her recent roles in unbeatable and WLU is utterly annoying maybe she should just stick with ancient drama and in roles like serious/quiet. I love TY but i cant barely stand her esp in unbeatable. sigh i cant wait to see her in XSY though....what do you guys think?

I've only watched the beginnings of WLU and Unbeatable but I agree with you that she's was a bit annoying in them from what I've seen. I also liked her as Zi Xuan much more, although the hairstyle wasn't very flattering on her.
I actually really liked her in My Daughter. She played the type of character that I'd normally hate and find annoying, but I think she somehow made it work and I didn't find it annoying at all. Maybe it's because all the other female characters made me want to facepalm. Or maybe she was just so adorable.

i havent watch my daughter yet but im tempted lol cuz im a big fan of qi wei...is it any good dragon heiress? and yeah in WLU shes still ok but in unbeatable omg shes unbearable if is not bc of part 1 unbeatable with peter ho was excellent i wouldnt even bother but yeah her voice is somehome annoying id rather her playing the baddie or serious role than acting all cutesie and naive. She has that pretty face that i think is good is she sticks with more serious role instead of the cute one.

I totally agree with you! I liked Tang Yan in CP3 too but she was quite annoying in The Unbeatables! No offense, I like Tang Yan but it seemed like she was "trying to be cute" in The Unbeatbles! =O

She is such a lovely actress. Can't help but like her.

I just hate how her character was written to be so annoying in the beginning of WLU. No wonder XTQ was so rude to her. She pretty much stole the shoes he ordered for his fiancee, stole the ring, indirectly caused his laptop and phone to be broken, and never realized how he was actually being nice to her. I would have chosen Mu Zhi Qing over her Xiao Bei any day. Of course her character got better as the series went along....but still.........why must they make her wear such weird clothes. Blah.

Tang Yan is a nice girl. I think if she stops playing a little innocent girl over and over again that would help her career.

She is so pretty on GWTW. I heard the male lead had done his part already but poor Tang Yan has to spend her BD at the set.
