Default HSDS - the wuxia story in which things end up in improbable containers?

If there's one amusing idiosyncrasy about HEAVEN SWORD & DRAGON SABRE, it's that, with greater frequency than in most other wuxia stories, important items end up being found in the strangest and most improbable containers.

    Consider:

    1. The 9 Yeung Jen Ging was hidden within the skin of a gorilla who was at least 100 years old.

    2. The complete texts of the 9 Yum Jen Ging and the Mo Muk War Tactics Manual were hidden within the blades of the Dragon Sabre and the Heaven Sword, respectively (Ed. 1 and 2).

    3. The miraculous Black Jade Ointment, capable of restoring mobility to the crippled, was hidden in the secret compartment of a golden jewelry box.

What next? Did Cheung 3 Fung end up hiding the manual for Tai Chi in a grain of rice?

Hiding them in such places understandable. Finding the Manual in the gorilla is a sheer luck. Why must ZWJ find it? Why not others? Discovering it was the strangest coincidence.

I am little bored. Why this forum became so inactive.

Don't forget the biggest one: Zhang Wuji being hidden in the Qiankun Sack by Monk Budai, and consequently being able to fully unleash the power of his Jiuyang energy.

I suppose that if one is a character in HSDS, one should not neglect to look or even DIG into toilets...you NEVER know what you might find in there (other than sh*t, of course)!

No spoiler tag because I just assume everyone has seen/read this one:

Not exactly improbable (everyone guessed it was in there) - QKDNY manual in cave and the letter appointing Jie Xun (improbable item). This actually might just be dumb move by previous cult leader - leaving will in cave that everyone is forbidden to enter.

Cave entrance underneath girl's bed (??)

Jin Yong seemed to have a "thing" about improbable secret containers in HSDS.

I think the first JAMES BOND movies were becoming popular when Jin Yong wrote HSDS. Those films are full of trick containers and other gadgets. Maybe that was influencing him?
