You know...there's something I've been meaning to say....that fur thing on Wallace reminds me of Steve Ma Jing Tao's fur thing he wore in series. In fact, Wallace's whole look reminds of Steve's look in that series, can't remember which.

First post here (I feel like I'm intruding) but just wanted to voice out that I'm also a Qiyou (+ Fu Ya/Qiyou) supporter. This is my second time seeing him. My first was his short and waaaaaaaay under-developed (and therefore embarassing) cameo in Gong.

Anyway, I watched the QSHF epis online, but the subs aren't fully complete, and I'm getting too lazy to follow w/ my mediocre knowledge of Mandarin. But I'll definitely catch this series again when it airs in Japan.

I'm embarrased to say but I'm really, really new to Mainland China drama. This is the first time I've seen Ruby Lin acting, and so far she's convincing in her role. Once she left the Chu kingdom and came to the Shu Kingdom disguised under the pseudonym Pan Yu, things got really interesting. I know this sounds wierd but I loved all her emotional/crying scenes because she's very good at it! I couldn't help but feel for her emotional turmoil.

I also loved the arguments she'd get into with Qiyou..haha, those two are so cute together.

Wallace Huo I've seen only one other time in Rouge Snow opposite Fan Bing Bing, but despite his being the male lead, I wanted her with her husband instead. Wallace had the boyish charming looks, but he was bland. I felt super-duper disappointed that they had to kill off the husband (Liu Xue Hua) so that she'd end up with the much-more popular Wallace. But in QSHF I found comfort in his madness and passion, which is a complete 360 from his sleepy role as the jilted-school-teacher-turned-detective, Yun Kai, in Rouge.

To tell the truth, I don't like YQ's character in MRXJ. He looks so hot at there, but character..just...geez. Just my opinion.

Lian Cheng is very difficult role to play. Wallace did great job as Liancheng.
