Yeah, he's not aging as well as Wallace. Wallace looks late 20s, but Yan Kuan looks late 30s now - at least he looks older than Ruby. Bu Bu Jing Xin's Kevin Cheng looks 10 years younger than Yan Kuan (even though in reality Kevin's 10 years older).

i also wondered what happened to Yan Kuan there. he didnt look like that in Margin just recently. *pounds photographer's head* this shot make him resemble feng shao feng but a haggard version.

OMG! Wallace & Ruby look sooo adorable in the BTS!! I'm definitely a LianCheng & FuYa shipper now. With Wallace's excellent acting chops and his great BTS chemistry with Ruby, he will make the audience TOTALLY want FuYa to be with LianCheng rather than with all the other guys.

Director Gao Xi Xi of The Three Kingdoms is an investor in QSHF. he's the best consultant for the fighting sequences and battles befitting to the brutal warring period.

the suitor arc reminds me of Helen of Troy because in semblance, she had many kings and princes from around the world admire her, even abducting, and warring for her. QSHF's character is quite conservative compared to Helen's, who had approx 45 suitors that led ships to shed their rivals' blood.

Ruby has already sold Qing Shi to Japan and Korea - and she only just started filming!!! And of course Mainland and Taiwan are guaranteed.

Are Korea and Japan such a big deal for a Mainland series? I think HK is a more important market! Bu Bu already has HK but I don't hear of QSHF being sold to HK yet.

must say that the finalized male cast isn't as attractive as it was made out to be in the beginning, which is very disappointing =(
only one who i deem hot in here is yan kuan.
wallace chung is cute but i don't know, just not as attractive as yuan hong or wallace chung...
having said that i still look foward to watch this when it comes out xD

Really? I now much prefer Wallace Huo to Wallace Chung after the awesome wuxia series that is Strange Hero Yi Zhi Mei. Really dislike Wallace Chung's singing which he seems to be concentrating on now. And look at Wallace Huo & Ruby's adorable BTS together...WOW! I hope the script concentrates more on FuYa & LianCheng's love story bcos honestly, he's the only actor with A-list star power here.

I know Tony Yang's quite popular in Taiwan, but I think HXM-lookalike Mao Zi Jun is much hotter. He would have been much better as LianXi, plus he looks more like Wallace Huo (acting as LianXi's older brother). Agree with munianci, the LianXi costume is...eh.

Frankly, Bu Bu Jing Xin's male cast star power is far ahead. Even Wallace Huo's star status is behind Nicky & Kevin's (well, Nicky & Kevin are 10 years older than him so longer in the business).

same with xiaolong. i prefer wallace huo than wallace chung. (just my opinion). I enjoy wallace huo's acting in various type of TV series. He was Taiwanese idol star before, but totally grows up now.
