Default An LOCH Great couldn't move that rock; could an ROCH Great have moved it?

In LOCH, West Poison Au Yeung Fung was not powerful enough to move the rock that was crushing his nephew/son Au Yeung Hak's legs. From this, we know that a (mid-) LOCH Great could not move that boulder. Would an (end of) ROCH Great have sufficient power to move it?

No. The novel described that stone as weighing "tens of thousands of jin". I doubt anyone in all of Jinyong is capable of lifting that much, maybe not even Xu Zhu and Sweeper.
Read the latest chapters of Coiling Dragon at Wuxia World!

Talking about this, is there any left in OYK's legs since it's that heavy? Anyone recall if he was amputated or still had hanging legs?
I wonder if it can be blast open or into pieces at least by anyone else. Say, YG with HIS, GWM with his wheels, or XF triple dragon palms or whatever.

How did he get to Ox Village to be murdered by Yeung Hong, and why did he travel there in the first place? Crippled men generally don't undertake long journeys on their own unless there's a very good reason.

Crippled yes, but it could mean the legs were still attached but disabled. I mean if the rock was that heavy, it should have crushed the legs, nothing left and no choice but to cut it off. Then, why would OYF still harbour hopes of saving OYK, rather than just cut if off?

JY wrote that if the dude's legs were cut off he'd die of blood loss but this's possibly just one of the various plot holes present in JY novels b/c a martial arts expert like OYF shouldn't have any problem w/ staunching. Besides, the dude must be trapped under the rock, otherwise OYF would make mincemeat of HR, GJ and HQG. Another possibility is that OYK's internal energy somewhat automatically reinforced his legs and saved them from being crushed by the weight of 20+ tons. This shouldn't be too far-fetched as in real life there are qigong chaps who could let a 7 - 8 ton truck slowly run over their bodies without suffering injury.
