To what extent are the CONDOR HEROES TRILOGY Greats capable of LDA?

LDA (Long Distance Attacks), projecting inner energy as an offensive force, seems to be the domain of the Elites and Superelites, not of the CONDOR HEROES TRILOGY. That said, are the CHT's Greats completely incapable of LDA? It seems that the CHT are capable of LDA...just not to the extent that the Elites and Superelites of DGSD are.

LDA is something Jin Yong explored frequently in DGSD and novels afterwards. Before then, there were a few cases here and there, but not fully tapped.

LDA or lack of can't really be used to measure the Trilogy Greats, and similarly with energy sucking a la BMSG, XXDF, etc.

I tend to agree. Similarly, we shouldn't use the lack of Trilogy-era "sophistication" to measure DGSD era fighters either, since that wasn't JY's focus any more.
