Similarly, although Gwok Jing is also characterized by Jin Yong as being dull-witted, inarticulate, and often tongue-tied, Gwok Jing ironically gave some of the most stirring speeches by Jin Yong's protagonists. The manner in which Gwok Jing told off Genghis Khan at the end of LOCH and his similarly-themed speech to Kublai Khan in ROCH were among the most memorable and compelling words ever uttered by a wuxia protagonist.
