Very nice I'm rereading Romeo & Juliet since I got curious after watching the Leonardo DiCaprio and Clare Danes adaptation. Shakespeare is quite the genius, but I prefer his comedies such as "Much Ado Over Nothing" and "The Merchant of Venice" over his tragedies. His sonnets are very nice too.Originally Posted by Qin_Shu_Bao
However, I wonder how you guys manage to "read" Shakespeare. I never seem to FULLY understand it until I perform it or read it aloud. After all, these are plays - they were meant to be performed and read out loud, not read. Acting Shakespeare is loads of fun too, compared to sitting there with the text.

Im reading: Ties that bind, ties that break, by lensey Namioka. Its really nice, and sad though; kind of like a sad good ending.
Sometimes it's hard to love someone because you're so afraid of losing them.
It's Confusing. The indeterminacy and surrealism confuses me. It seems to be saying the judicial system and government bureaucracy is not right somehow but then it justifies it. I'm totally confused about the Catherdral chapter particularly the deception part. And how does existentialism come into play? Too much Kafka at one sitting.Originally Posted by Han Solo

Reading Bram Stoker's Dracula online, it's quite a pain reading online books, but good thing the story is engaging, otherwise I might have given up a long time ago.
any suggestion for a good website for online reads? the ones i found wasn't so interesting

^I read Dracula at Project Gutenberg, the books there are those whereby the copyrights had already expired or not copyrighted in the first place. So don't expect to find the latest thriller there, I usually look for classics and basically skim through anything that has an interesting enough title.
